I'm not really sure although the noise I had with the old cable is gone.

There are two hdmi opening on the back of my tv
I want to connect my blurray in to one and the tv connection in the other,to keep not having to disconnect one and put the tv back in
If the two HDMI are both inputs just connect each box to one, otherwise you will have to by an HDMI switch 2in/1out.
