The packaging for this gaming laptop is incredibly simple and compact. There's gaps between the laptop and the box as protection, but pulling everything out was very easy to do.
The power brick for this gaming laptop is much bigger than your typical laptop, but the wattage it's built for is a good enough reason. The back end of the machine is built a little different, primarily for a better cooling system, but it takes some time to get used to it. It also has the power cord connection on the back of the laptop, which is no longer normal. You cannot put it right up against a wall, which is probably done on purpose for cooling efficiency.
I was able to get through the Windows setup quickly. I was a little bummed that it doesn't have facial recognition, but setting up a PIN to get into Windows quickly isn't too difficult.
The laptop fan(s) can get a little loud when gaming or encoding video, but if you're playing using headphones like I do, it wont bother you in the slightest. Windows is snappy on this thing and the resolution/refresh rate is much better than what I'm used to. Everything seems to move much more smoothly.

The box for this thing is huge. This was totally expected, but the size and weight made it a little more difficult than expected for the journey for its place of use. Once I got it where I wanted it, it was relatively simple to unbox and get set up. I didn't have to put it on its mount, because I mounted it on an arm on my desk. First problem is that the USB-C cable that came with it is very short, around 3 feet, and the way I had it on the arm it bent the connection on the monitor end the first time I moved the arm. That was my fault, but if it was 6 feet long, it wouldn't have happened.
The next thing I did was turn it on, hoping to see my laptop screen, but I was at the setup screen with no way to just change to the HDMI input without going through the setup. Connecting to Wi-Fi and going through all the options just took way too long in my opinion. I was replacing a standard monitor and wanted to be able to get back to what I was doing so I could get to the fun stuff later, but that was impossible. It felt like it took me at least 20 minutes to make my way through the setup, even skipping a few steps that it allowed me to.
The monitor itself is wonderful. The resolution is perfect, even though I had to set my icon size up so I could actually read everything. I love having room on my screen for multiple windows to be able to work and use references with ease.
The smart part of the monitor work well, and the volume is plenty good enough for streaming a show or movie when I don't have something else to do.
I love this monitor, and I feel it's perfect for a college student or anyone looking to save on space. Make sure you already have Wi-Fi and the time to go through the setup before starting installation, and you'll be just fine.

These headphones are very high quality, and the case they come with for storage was just a little extra that I wasn't expecting. Upon opening the box to find them in the case was quite a surprise. There's a little pocket in there to hold any needed cables. I was able to open them up and start using them within minutes.
There's an app for fine-tuning the equalization, and it was very easy to use to accommodate my preferences. The sound quality is on par with the best I've used. I had no issues with other people being able to hear me while playing games or in meetings on my laptop.
The button controls are very easy to get comfortable with and use. I love the fact that there's a volume control on them that even connects to MS Windows controls, so when you use it, you can see the volume bar open up on-screen, if your version supports that.
The battery life on them seems to be very good, as I've used them for approximately 20 hours without having to charge them. I would highly recommend these to anyone who uses headphones for hours and has the same feeling as I do about being tethered to a laptop/console.

Sony - SRSXE200 - Excellent Bluetooth Speaker

I pulled the Sony SRSXE200 out of the box, which was very easy by the way, and turned it on, connecting it to my phone in less than three minutes. Using Sony's app, I was able to see that it was charged to about 60% when I first got it.
I typically listen to more audiobooks than music. I went out in the garage and started working while listening to my audiobook, but it sounded way too deep. I opened up the app and using the equalizer, I brought down the lows and increased the mid range, which made the quality of the voice much better.
After listening for an hour, the battery showed to have 56% left. That's a little better than the advertised battery capacity, but that may be due to the fact I was only listening to an audiobook, using less energy to drive the speaker.
I did play some music a little later, though. For it's size, the audio volume and quality available is quite surprising. I reset the equalizer settings, and played music for about an hour at 1/4 volume. The battery was showing at 50% after an hour, which is wonderful.
I am extremely satisfied with this speaker and looking forward to several years of use.

This mouse was very easy to get working with my laptop! I pulled it out of the box, turned it on, and my laptop immediately asked me if I wanted to connect to it using Bluetooth. I didn't have all of the functionality that the software provides, but it worked immediately as a standard mouse.
The software allows you to customize the buttons on the mouse to have quick-click functionality for whatever environment you're using it in. I like scrolling through tabs with the thumbwheel, personally.
The design of the mouse feels more ergonomically correct than most mice I've used over the last 28 years, and it has a fantastic weight, giving it a solidity that they have often been lacking. The texture of the surface is pleasant, and it really looks and feels like they put a lot of thought into the aesthetics.
The battery seems like it will last a long time, but the fact that the USB-C port is on the front of it will make using as a "wired" mouse while it's charging will not be a problem in the slightest.

Opening the box is an experience. The box opens, lifting the laptop to make it easier to pull out. The power adapter and documentation is stowed away in easy to get to flaps under and to the sides of the laptop.
Once I had it out, I was getting it set up to use very quickly. It goes through the typical setup steps for Windows. I was really surprised the first time I heard it play a sound. The music sounds full and deep, a trait I'm not used to in a portable computer.
Once I got well into Windows, I noticed that the icons and text was much larger than I expected with the screen resolution advertised (2880x1620). I have 20/25 vision, so I like to use the space to maximum efficiency. I make my way to the display settings and the default is set to 200%, so I dropped it down to 100%, and that was too low! The text was clear, but I felt myself straining, so it went back up to 125% and that is perfection in my humble opinion.
I have been using it for a little over a week, and I love how quickly it responds to me. I can easily have multiple tabs and applications open with no lag in response time.
I have one problem that took me a bit to figure out. When flipping it to use touchscreen only it worked perfectly, but when I flipped it back I couldn't seem to use the touchpad. The cursor was nowhere to be found on the screen and the only way I could get it to come back was to close the lid, wait about 5 seconds, and then all was good. I don't flip it often, so it's not a real issue, but that has been my only issue.

Keep unwanted hair to a minimum with this Philips grooming tool. I still use this trimmer today. It works well, and I've had absolutely no issues with it. I'm fairly certain I wrote a review on it at least 5 years ago, but the site is asking for another one. I'm actually surprised I got it that long ago. Still works well, and I've had no issues with charging.

I absolutely love this system. I've wanted to add WiFi 6 to my network for a little over a year now, but have been hesitant because I didn't know if it would really benefit me much. I have had drastic improvements to my network devices because of this upgrade.
Setup was simple and while I didn't follow the instructions to the letter, I was able to read them and get back on track quite easily. This system does not lock you down, in that you can easily swap it over to AP mode and allow your existing system to handle routing. There are many options available for their use. The only caveat to this is that you must use your web browser, instead of the app, to make many of these changes.
I really appreciate the level of control I have over this system.

This is a pretty neat device. I'm a little concerned about the price to value ratio, but it does seem to make me a little more conscious about my routine at shower time. The nubs do get between facial hair to help clean the skin underneath. There's an app to help you use it, but I quite honestly, don't see the value of the app, maybe because it's not as intuitive (to me) as I'm used to.

I live in a weird place where the signal of local stations comes from different areas of the city. Using antennas in the attic is where I get the best signal (can't put them outside... HOA). I've tried several, but could never get everything I wanted.
With the ability to move this one remotely, I can now get all of the local channels, and it's the clearest I've gotten them. I still can't get them all without moving the antenna, but the rotation with the remote makes the change SO much easier!

I did not see AT&T in the potential to link accounts, but I did link my Nest thermostats. The Nest link works very well.
