Overall, I love my Xbox One. Neither a fan boy nor an electronic extremist, I truly feel the Xbox One is the console that everyone has under estimated.
Despite it's public follies during its original revealling, I think M.S. did a great job to write their wrongs and taylor the console to better suite the needs of the masses.
Bear in mind that this review is truly unbiased, in that I also picked up a PS4 on launch date. As much as the PS4 is smaller and looks sweeter, the launch titles are slim to none. Furthermore, PS+ has been having connection issues lately. (Probably due to the flood of new account activations post-Black Friday)
In the end, I say BOTH consoles are equally matched in graphics and performance. (Comparing Battlefield 4 on both)
Xbox One is a good choice if you want to have other launch titles to choose from (ie. Dead Rising 3 or Forza). Plus the new kinect features are a must with this console, hense validating its $500 price point compared to the PS4. Only main drawback for now is that it's a HUGE console and it's heavy. (Maybe a concern if you have a glass entertainment center)
PS4 is still equally just as good, but the slim selection of launch titles and connection issues with PS+ are all that drop this console a little lesser than the Xbox One... (For now)
