HP ink is great.

I've tried using generic ink or ink refills...I always go back to the original HP ink. While expensive, it's totally worth it. We set our printer to DRAFT mode and let it go! Even in draft mode, we get quality print outs.

Great CD by Sabrina Carpenter. A family favorite that we love to blast over the speakers while driving to our next destination!

A great printer for a great price!

This little printer packs a punch! I've tried using other brands, but always come back to HP. Since I already own a massive HP printer (for work), I was looking for something smaller that our whole family could use - but I still needed it to be an all-around power horse. With print, copy, scan, and fax features it has not disappointed us!

Enormous wash tub!

At first I was a little intimidated by the size and the fancy buttons, but it is really easy to use. The options are quite straight-forward, once you've used them a time or two. The model comes with a laminated "cheat sheet" to help guide you through some simple washes your first few go-rounds. The washing cycle is quiet (quieter than my old Maytag). The spin cycle reminds me of an airplane as it's coming in for a landing - not that it's super loud or anything. Just mimics the sound. Stainless steel washing tub is ENORMOUS! (I am 5'5" and can barely - on my tip toes - reach the bottom of the wash tub. If you're shorter than this - pick up a step stool! You'll need one!). Before this washer, I did at least 9 wash loads and 9 dryer loads, per week (I previously owned a super-capacity Maytag washer). I now only have 4 wash loads and 4 dryer loads a week! Our clothes come out clean, smelling wonderful and not damaged. There is no (traditional) agitator in the wash tub, but it still gets the job done with it's little bumpy-spinny-thing at the bottom of the tub (sorry - I don't know what's it called - HA!). I have not tried the bulky cycle (for bedding and such) or the heavy duty cycle yet - perhaps I'll do another review once I've used those. We've owned this washer for one month and have seen a $6.00 drop in our recent monthly water bill. We are transitioning between seasons right now in Colorado (stopped using our AC daily), so I really couldn't tell if there was a difference in our electric bill - but I'd imagine there was (for the good). Oh, one tip - be sure to measure your available space before purchasing. Luckily ours fit - we had to make some adjustments - but got it to work out for us. It's a larger washer altogether and then on top of it, there's some stuff in the back that sticks straight out of it (the water tubes didn't help either). You cannot manipulate it to bend or twist in one direction or the other, so you'll need additional clearance (at least 4 - 5 inches additional) in the back for it to fit in the space. I really like this washer - I have no complaints!!

What caused small holes in my pillowcases? Load of sheets/towels was not large.

Holes were in straight lines... does spin speed suck fabric into holes in drum?
Sounds like a loose thread was pulled out and left spaces behind where the thread was. Most fabrics are woven (one thread crosses over another), and when one layer is removed, it leaves the space behind. I wash my towels separate from everything else. Sheets and pillowcases are washed together only. Perhaps the roughness of the towels snagged one of the threads in the pillowcase and pulled it out?
