Real ink, is for ever.

In the last year, my secretary insisted to try another - 3rd party compatible inks - with the printer I have. Just to lower the bills. Well, when it comes to quality there is no lower bill that could help. Two 3rd party brands of ink printed without a problem, but after a couple of moth, the colors wear out, and even just humidity, screwed the printings. Now this ink, well it seems it last for ever.

Good game, not another shooting remake

I was caught for the inter-relation ship embedded in this game. Two Brothers, you know. Just the name passes the idea of a cooperative multiplayer game. And it's so. But what amazed me, is the creativity of the scenarios built in the game, and the necessity for the players to think how they can help each other to both go through the different challenges. This was one of the best games I gifted to my kids.

Even if you don't print a lot of color pages, I do prefer the XL cartridges. XL is the best cost/benefit to go for.
Besides the great quality in the ink, which doesn't change its color with time, I really do prefer to use the XL because it maximizes the use of the injection-header. Pity they don't make a XXL :)

XL is the best option

I now it's a little expensive, specially when you just want to print some sheets, but XL is the best cost/benefit to go for.

I bought this camera based on a previous experience with similar brand older model camera. The Video specs are pretty good indeed. The camera felt solid, nice design but not very small.
However, as soon as I unpacked it, I noticed it didn't rotate. You know, this camera is to be put on top of your monitor, on the edge, so you can move it freely sideways, adjusting the position, but for me it was important to be able to rotate the camera, and this doesn't. So I returned.

What can I say, it's Amazing

This is a high quality product from HP.
The exterior is very nice, it feels solid, slim and the rounded corners are very soft. It's lighter than my previous laptop (Dv-6000) and it easily fits a regular back-pack.
Processing and video performance are amazing. The NVidea chipset really makes difference, and the windows 10 is very intuitive to use (not like windows 8.x that I really didn't like it)
Using the laptop I noticed, that open the lid requires attention, I mean you need to put the fingers exactly in the middle and use the other hand to hold the base, because if not you end lifting the whole laptop. Not a problem for me. I do better prefer this that a loose lid.
The screen is a Touch screen, very nice indeed, specially when I use the for entertainment. When I used for work, I barely use the touch. But the touch is very responsive. Since the screen is bright, when computer is on you can not see all the marks your finger leave on screen until you turn it off.
Connectors, it has a HDMI with worked fine even with my 4K Tv. USB, headset and this time HP made the right decision to put the SD at the side edge (Not in the front edge as previous models).
Keyboard has the same touch sensation as other models. But this has back-light. The back-light is of the type On/ Off (it doesn't have levels of brightness) but it has showed to be very helpful in the plane or when I go to bed and I my wife wants to keep the room light off.
Two things that might be better: The key back-light, the light doesn't come only through the character symbols on the key (so you can see the letters on the keys), but it come through the border of the keys, like a leak, and at some angles this is brighter than the top of the key itself. Maybe they didn't take this into account when adding the LED underneath.
Other the power connector into the laptop. This model has the connector as an "L" shaped jack. It's - most of the time - uncomfortable and unnatural. Depending how you use your laptop, you have to keep an eye in the connector to avoid stressing it. Also this connector doesn't seem as solid rock as the DV-6000 version.
That's it.

I have been using Epson and HP printers for a while. Canon a couple of times. The regular work - printing - all of them are kind of alike. Differences between speed, number of sheets you can load, and quality are not huge differences, of course as long as you use the quality of ink.
The OJ5740 has wireless comm and regular USB. So I planed to use the wireless for convenience.
However, this printer for me was outstanding. First installation procedure (drivers, applications, and even direct panel configuration for wifi) was extremely simple. Some printers require you plug them first with USB. This one no. I took probably 2-3 minutes for the whole setup. Second the double side printing is something I've been wanting for long, but afraid of jams. I have printed so far over 200 pages, double sided and not a single jam.
And then the anounced features: good speed, auto-feeder for copy and scanning, photo-paper tray, touch display, etc... well. Next printer it's going to be defunetively an OfficeJet. And the price is totally fair.

Whenever I travel I used to take with me like 7 or 8 DVDs with backed up data, my mandatory install programs and lot of my music files. It was painful to prepare the DVDs. As with all the Flash storage devices I bought, I did a benchmark and and reliability test- The benchmark consists in transferring a directory with 1GB of data, (500 files of ~2Megs each). Write, was around 5.4 MByte/second, and read around 18.2 MB/second. Then I perform a compare check, using a file comparer (full data compare). No problems detect.
So for the price it was great. So it's great for leaving with you files, pictures, musics, movies that you want to play among different devices. (frequent reading)
That been said, if you plan to use it as a safe back up for your machine (frequent writing) you can go for something else faster, if writing speed for your back up with this device is not what you want.

I am using VeraCrypt from codeplex. The extracted worked for me. I used in windows version windows 7, 8 and 10.
