Must turn it on with difficult to push switch on bottom every use. Goes thru a slow noisy routine every time it starts up. And the sound is lackluster at best. Volume controls are not great. Buy this if you just need cheap sound occasionally.

This device works well as a heart rate monitor and step counter. The sleep function isn't as good as Up Jawbone. The app on my phone worked only briefly, then began giving me errors. The sync via computer works much better. The web site/stats however are confusing and hard to use.

Doesn't stay connected despite proximity

Disappointing performance. Easy to get it working, difficult to keep it working. Both my cross trainer and my blu-ray player sporadically require me to log in again. My iPod on the other hand stayed logged in even before I added this range extender from the same location.

Microwave depth?
The items specs list a depth of 18.6. With a standard 12 inch upper cabinet, does this item stick out noticeably? If current MW (15.5depth) would be replaced with this item, the additional overhang would be about 3 inches , does anyone think that it gets in the way while using the stove or accessing adjoining upper cabinets?
It sticks out a little, but it is certainly not in my way.

I want to monitor my resting heart rate during sleep to know the lowest resting heart rate during the whole sleep period. Will this device provide this information and how do I go about this? If this device cannot generate this information, which other product will give me this information
You would need to wear the strap to bed, and tell it to track. But a better method is the UP Jawbone 3.

Does it work when cycling
I like to bike, what does it record when I bike(cycle). Also will the newer models have a back light?
When using a step tracker of any brand on a bike or an elliptical strider without arms, put the band in your pocket! Your legs are moving, but your arms are not. Heart rate function should work just fine. I don't think a back lite is in the works, and it is not visible in the dark. Take a tiny flashlight.
