Originally released in 1978, great effort by Santana that steered towards rock sound as opposed to some of the earlier jazz fusion sounds. "One Chain (Don't Make No Prison)", "Open Invitation", "The Dealer" are all cover songs but rock. "Stormy" was a hit single about lost love. Great to listen to again.
Solid hard driving southern rock at it's best. Molly Hatchet consistently delivers scorching guitar solos and pounding rock and roll. Great sound quality for a live album.
Only song I had heard before purchase was "To Leave Something Behind" from The Accountant movie that played as the movie ended and credits rolled. Entire effort very solid. Love the sound of Sean Rowe's deep voice. I believe anyone into the Americana genre of music will appreciate and enjoy this album.
CD is listed as 35th Anniversary Edition but what was received was the original seventies issue. Was looking to buy newer remastered copy but sadly disappointed. Went to exchange at local Bestbuy but music selection has been greatly reduced the past few years so was unable to obtain product as listed on the website.
