Very disappointed w/ the new quality of KitchenAid

I purchased this model after my beloved KitchenAid's handle malfunctioned and no longer released. I did extensive research on a new food processor and wanted to give KitchenAid another chance. It was promptly delivered to my home and began the unveiling. From the beginning the quality of the bowl and lid was inferior. They did not quite fit right and would not lock or release easily. The motor and housing felt like I was buying a cheap product that would not withstand being used on a frequent basis. I really wanted to love it, but in the end it was returned.
I ended up buying the Cuisinart 11 cup alternative and am pleased!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
