This CD is great! Heavy pounding riffs from the start and there is no let up. Glenn Danzig's vocals are truly like no other! Overall, this Cd just rocks hard from start to finish. Go see them on tour!
As I write this, tragedy had struck this band in the past few days with the death of their bass player in a horrific road side accident, so a review of this album, which is great by the way, seems kind of unimportant. All the best to all the members of the band, their crew, and their families.
The Cd's ok but nothing close to their old classics. That's pretty standard for so many of these older bands that keep putting out a new cd every other year or so. Oh well, enjoy anyway, my friend!
Their metal remakes are pretty rockin' but the other sappy pop covers are lousy. I realize, however, that most people prefer the sappy pop ballads over the rockin' stuff, but then again, that's the way it's always been on this planet. Chuck Berry Forever!!
This is a fist in your face metal barrage so if that's your thing, you'll love this! If you're more the type that thinks Maroon 5 is rockin' metal then you'll hate this! Oh well, such is reality.
I was planning to see this band on their recent tour so I bought the CD to become familiar with the songs and after listening to it all the way through, I decided not to go see them. Then I threw the CD in my fireplace! It's the first CD I ever owned that wound up actually becoming the name of the band!
If Disturbed was a breakfast cereal instead of one of the rockinest rock and roll bands of all time, they would be like lucky charms 'cause on top of all the hard rockin' classics they perform on this live CD, it's also filled with oh so many sweet surprises! Therefore, listen to this CD and eat some Cereal and live the good life!
