A good rainy-day-when-nothing-is-on movie

If you read the critics' review of this, it is a total waste of time whose only redeeming feature is the special effects. No, this is not an award winning picture but, as a mindless 2-hour escape, this isn't too bad. The story is thin, the dialog sketchy but, if you go into it as a simple escapist sci-fi action flick, there are redeeming values.

When you've been around as long as Bob has, I guess it is inevitable that sooner or later you are going to drop a CD just for the money. Maybe these are songs that Bob liked long ago - but had he heard them sung the way Bob does today, I doubt we would see this CD today. Buy a copy of Blood on the Tracks or something earlier and don't encourage this kind of behavior!

GOOD MOVIE FOR WHAT IT IS

This is NOT a contender for Best Movie of the Year but, if you are looking for a simple shoot 'em up, non stop action type movie with a minimal plot, this is your movie. The sound track is good, and the violence isn't real gory and, after watching it once, you can put it in and watch it while you work on your tablet.

No more extended guitar solos, no political stands - just music to listen to and not worry about deep secret meanings.
