Easy Install, Powerful SSD

Having a 2TB SSD is amazing. In the past, I have had systems with either an SSD for the operating system, and a standard HDD for my typical file storage, or two SSDs. Having everything on one drive is AMAZING.
The Physical installation of the drive in my laptop was easy and simple, taking only about 5 minutes. Installing windows 10 took about 9 minutes, and that was it. Boot times are around 10 seconds.
Do yourself a favor, if you have an old computer that you like, and it has at least 8 GB of RAM, upgrade to an SSD (laptop or desktop).

Same Great Calphalon, But Stackable!

I have long been a fan of Calphalon. Over the years, when we have a pot or pan that needs replaced, we will often try a budget brand, then always come back to Calphalon. This set is especially awesome because it is all stackable, so it saves a lot of space.
Additionally, these are very stylish, and the non-stick quality of the pans is amazing!

Easy Setup, Works Great!

Setting up the Arris Surfboard wireless modem/wifi router was a snap. Basically, I just needed to plug it in using the cables from my old modem/router. The main thing to remember is that once you have the router in place, you will need to call most ISPs (Cox in my case), and have them "provision the modem. This just means that they will be looking for the new modem instead of the old one. Most companies require a call for this, as the modem will have to reset, which stops your Internet service for a few minutes.

Great for First-Time PArents

The Nanit Plus is an incredibly cool, next-gen "baby monitor." I couldn't wait to let my friend try it out, who jus had a baby. After seeing it in action, this is a great way for first-time parents to rest easy.
This is the baby-monitor of the future. It allows you to keep an eye on your baby via your cell phone. You can hear audio 100% of the time if you'd like, even when your phone's screen is off. It will also notify of sounds or motion from the baby or the baby's room.
My favorite feature is that you can talk to your baby (or your spouse) through the two-way audio.
While seasoned parents might find this to be major overkill, first-time parents will welcome this level of security and peace-of-mind.

A Great Microwave...With Pitfalls

This microwave is HUGE. That is a big plus for me and my family. There is plenty of room to heat up multiple bowls of leftovers at the same time. Using the steam sensor, reheating is a snap, as it automatically stops when the food should be ready.
It is a very good looking microwave, and would look good in just about any kitchen, especially one primarily featuring stainless steel. The touch screen also looks very cool.
That said, the touch screen doesn't have numbers, save the for +30 seconds button. I do not like this. While I get that all of the icons are supposed to make setting a cook time easier, I much prefer manually entering cook times. I worry that any house guests I have may have a difficult time using this microwave on their own.
In summary, the Panasonic Genius Prestige Plus is a stylish, powerful microwave, but it seems to have tried to fix problems that didn't exist with the icon based touchpad.

I Never Knew I Needed This...But I DO!

I have never made soup before. I have never *considered* makng soup before. Then I stumbled upon the Philips Soup Maker, and everything changed. Soup is easy to mak, with a "set it and forget it" approach to making soups. It essentially works like a mix between a slow cooker, and a blender. Meaning you can make all kinds of soups (hot or cold), and you don't have to worry about burning anything.
The included recipe book is easy to follow, and so far, the recipes are delicious. Once I have used it a bit more, I plan on making my own recipes, which will be exciting. I love soups because they tend to be healthy, but now, since I am at the helm, I can better control how many calories and what nitrients are added. I think this might also be a good use for some leftovers, especially veggies!
This is the one piece of tech I had no idea I needed, but it will be used regularly from now on.

For Clean Shaves or Beards

No matter how thick your beard, the Norelco Wet/Dry shaver will last even the longest of trips. With up to 40 minutes of shave time, it only takes me about 5 minutes to shave. I get a close shave, wet or dry.
Unlick many traditional circular shavers, the Norelco Wet/dry dry shaver also comes with a trimming attachment, so even if you let your beard grow, this shaver can still service full beards.
This is a nice, stylish shaver, that works great, but the price is a bit steep.

Using These on Next Backpacking Trip

These Cobra Pro Business Radios are amazing. I plan on using them backpacking, and while I haven't been able to try them in the middle of mountains, I had no problem using them over a range of 7 miles.
They are rechargeable, and have a 12 hour battery life. For backpacking, as long as I turn them off when not in use, that would easily cover a 4-5 day trek and more.
These are small and light-weight, so they are ideal for saving space in a pack.

First off, the battery life is amazing. These headphones can last for up to 24 hours. That means you may not need a charge on a business trip, even if it is two weeks.
These headphones sound AMAZING, with very rich highs and lows. The noise cancelling also works incredibly well, shedding unwanted outside noises. Don't use these for jogging with the noise cancelling on, as you won't know what is going on around you - use monitor mode instead, as it allows you to better hear what is around you.
Having access to your digital assistant on your phone by just double-tapping the button is great as well, as I can get information, or just change playlists, without taking out my phone. I can also ask the time, call people, and get answers to questions without missing a beat.
