A bit pricey for what you get

Warning, if your cable box feeds your TV via HDMI and your TV is a bit old, it will not pass audio to the speaker via the optical out. I had to take optical out from cable box straight to sound bar. Other peripherals need their optical out to the sound bar.

unable to get file to work
down loaded music onto cruzer glide 8gb but will not play in car radio or stero but only on tv app

Why won't it work with my sharp 60 tv?
I hooked it up with the optical and it still won't work. The tv doesn't have any options to switch it to the optical wires ( if there is please help.). It streams Bluetooth but won't play from the tv. I have the bar set to optical 1 and plugged in there. And does it even work with the sharp tvs.
I may not be able to answer your question exactly but my experience may help you figure out your situation. My TV was old enough that it did not pass audio from the TV to the optical out if the source was HDMI. Thus when watching cable tv witht he cable box feeding the tv, the tv would not pass the audio to the sound bar. we hooked up optical audio out from the cable box directly to the sound bar. The DVD player was connected to the tv with analog audio and video connectors (Red white and Yellow RCA). In this case the tv would pass the audio optical out to the sound bar. BUt this requires two cables. One optical fromt he cable box when we watch cable. A separate one from the TV when we watch dvds. Luckily the sound bar has two optical inputs. Hope this helps.
