I had the DC65 animal which broke. Fortunately we bought the warranty so ended up getting this one. I used this over where we used the dc65 earlier that day and this picked up way more dog hair. Great buy if you have animals.

My lab is a shedding machine. I know this is made with medium to long coats in mind. Has anyone tried it on their labs?
