Bought this by mistake thinking it was the same as my previous as my previous screen protector but ended up being satisfied with the outcome. With my previous TRUE glass screen protector, I was constantly wiping off fingerprints, but with this shield I don't have to wipe it down as often. The only downside pertains to the superficial aesthetics, when looking at the shield from an angle, there is a wavy-like appearance when compared to a true glass screen protector.

My only dislike about this unit is the base/stand. If purchasing this TV, I suggest you keep in mind where you are going to place it in your home/room. The TV sits very low so I have it placed on a monitor stand. The monitor stand I have is not wide enough to prop both legs properly so I have the TV sitting diagonally on the stand.
