With each COD game it's getting too futuristic in my opinion. At this rate, the next game will be a la Mass Effect, without the RPG elements. I know the older style warfare can get boring after a while, but it doesn't hurt to mix it up a bit either.

I like the tech-punk feel it had at times and great music selection on the ingame radio. Missions for the most part were almost always handled the same once I upgraded the rv/helicopter but still a good game. The cameo's were a nice addition as well.

Can you charge the batteries independent of the controller? For instance if I buy a few more back up batteries can they charge on the stand by themselves?
Not in the standing charger. They do sell a smaller charger for the battery packs though.
