following "fly like an eagle," with many of the songs cut during those sessions, "book of dreams" is, imho, an even better album. where "fly" had a few filler songs, there's not one to be found on "book," which has so many classic cuts . the remastered sound on this edition is great.

the best American band ever. moving toward their next 2 masterpieces, out of time and automatic for the people. harder sound and more popish stuff, also. anticipates out of time with some of the instrumentation. anniversary edition cd has great sound

if you liked the previous albums, you'll likely like this...if you give it a chance. not as poppy on a lot of tracks and darker themes to the songs. but overall a very good listening experience, worth repeated listens.
