Good protection, but application was not easy

This is my first time using the film protection on a watch. I use the HD Glass version on my apple watch, but my wife wanted the film version on hers so none of the screen is obscured. I'm assuming it's as good a protection as any Zagg product, but I had a difficult time installing it on the watch. To install, you clean the watch, then use an "adhesive activator" to place the film. Problem was, the film never peeled off the backing. After several tries, I peeled it off myself and placed it on the watch. Using the squeegee left a few waves in the film which I'm hoping work their way out as the older product used to. I'm sensing a replacement in the future if it doesn't stick, hopefully it goes on as advertised.

Some people didn't like the humor in the film, but I thought it was a nice change from the "we're all going to die" standard Avengers fare. This one is fun, bordering a little on silly but definitely a good watch.

Great little unit

Thos one replaces our last exact same model. The hose ripped and it's one of those items you cannot replace yourself according to Bissel. Calling their auth repair and it was almost cheaper just to buy new. and get a fresh start. Had a couple of these over the years and they're nice in that you set it over the stain, hit go and let it do it's thing. Only complaint would be extrating the water in auto mode because it doesn't do all that well. Still have to use the hose and pull some extra water up. Overall though, it's a handy little usit that does a great job. Especially with a puppy around....

Nice, but not great

Got this one mainly to have a Blu-Ray copy of the movie since the 4k is an upscale, but gave it a try. The BD is good. Much better than on DVD. The 4k is nice, but really contrasty. When it's bright, like on Miranda, the pic is nice and clean and sharp. But when they're in the ship's interior, everything seem sdark and a little crushed. HDR isn't that evident over the BD but there is a nice sharp picture all teh way through. If it hadn't been on sale, I'd probably have just stuck with the BD, but at the price, it was worth it.

They did need a reset at first, but have performed flawlessly after that. Charging is easy with the case and pairing is even easier as it follows all your devices via icloud. Sound is excellent. They stay put nicely when exercising and are small and light enough that you hardly notice them in. Only con would be how few ways they can be set up for touch operation as there aren't many options to choose from. Highly recommend!

Handy little guy

Picked this up for my wife the photographer to use as she's bee looking for a way to hook to the tripod and have something portable. This one did both. It has threads that match standard tripods, so we used it to record the kids opening gifts on Xmas and to get a family photo using the bluetooth remote.
The fold-able tripod is also great. We parked it in several locations to get different views and if the magnetic feet didn't get hold, it was easy to wrap the legs around and get things placed the way we wanted them. It also worked on small portable cameras, but as you would expect, it didn't have the strength to hold even a small SLR except on a flat surface.
It's not a super-deluxe motorized unit that walks, but if fits the bill for most average users like me. Even my pro photog wife loves it.

One remote to rule them all

After years of sorting through MANY remotes to work my home theater, I finally got around to buying a Harmony. After a little research, I decided on the Elite because it can also control my bluetooth devices like the old PS3.
It was really easy to set up, but don't do it if someone is watching at the time because it does require some testing and seemed to talk to things at random until it was set up.
I tried it with every device I own including some that don't seem to work with anything but their native remote and it ran them all just fine.
Only con really was the IR blaster setup. There are only two and they apparently rely on brute-force and reflections to work and I found a couple of devices with weird sensor placement that didn't get the signal, so I had to move things around a little to make sure all of the eyes could see. Otherwise I was ruling my home digital universe in less than 30 minutes!

Went from a 6 to the 8 and there's a fairly good difference in performance. The upgrade was simple and all it required was an IOS upgrade and a restore from backup to be up and running in less than an hour. Even auto-paired to my watch.

Zagg said this one would fit the 8, so I picked one up. I have them on my iPad and Apple Watch and love them. They provide a really nice level of protection and a perfect display. They also keep smudges down much better than the iphone glass, so you'll be cleaning less. Only hit was installation. This uses a plastic template to guide the shield onto the screen, but it actually skewed it a bit and unlike the film shields, these don't allow for repositioning. That and the edges didn't fully adhere, so I suspect I'll be getting a new one fairly soon, but next time I'll eyeball it vs using the template, or have them do it for me.
