Dumb question: Once I have the pins matched up and the keyboard functioning, I can't see how to adjust the cover so as to keep the Tab3 propped up. How to do this?

The box that your keyboard came in should have a picture or drawing on it that shows what the tablet looks like when propped up. You should lookfor the side view and set up your to look just like that. Hope this helped.
