i will say one thing about this item, luckily we did not required it. we already had a good quality vent pipe. this one would have forced the dryer further into the workspace had we used it. if you are not pressed for space this item would be a good choice.

This dryer cord is required for successful hook-up of your new appliance. Our delivery personnel will determine whether a 3- or 4-prong cord is needed based on the outlet behind your existing dryer.

Dryers ECO dry is practically useless

This Dryer, with all of its settings, does a poor job of basic drying functions. The ECO DRY is worthless and does not actually seem to dry anything. The May-tag Neptune dryer we had for 13 years had sensor dry and was fantastic. the samsung doesn't seem to have any setting that works well. it's also difficult to actually set the dryer. very dissatisfied with this unit, even more than the washer.

Does the job but, short on individual controls

This washing machine has a large selection of settings, but falls short in multiple areas. The door is not reversible making maneuvering the clothes from the washer to the dryer a challenge. the cabinet size of any of the front loading washers is to large, it makes the people who love the front loading type washer make hard decisions due to limited laundry room space (not everyone has a room built for these units). not the cleaning front - My wife had a stain on a blouse and it took 2 tries and then a pretreating with bleach before the 3rd wash to clean it. Tthe washer either would not allow the use of cold water unless it went to approx. 121 minutes and she did not want to use hot water or steam. Also when the mashine finishes its wash cycle and shuts off, you cannot turn on the interior light unless you power it back up. we added the pedestals and now my wife, bing around 5'4'' cannot reach the wall cabinets over the washer and dryer, back to the large cabinet size. we had a set of May-tag Neptunes for 13 years before buying this set. Those had stain removal cycle and did, in some if not many cases a better job than this Samsung set.
