This laptop supports something better than USB-C: it supports Thunderbolt 3! With Thunderbolt 3, you can plug USB-C devices (and USB hubs if you need more ports) into the Thunderbolt 3 port. You don't need an adapter, because USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 use the same physical port. You can also plug in a Thunderbolt 3 hub, which can simultaneously support external GPUs, monitors, USB-A devices and USB-C devices. It can even charge your laptop straight from the Thunderbolt 3 port! Note that the port is on the back of the unit.
The laptop also supports all DisplayPort 1.2 displays, which can support any 34" curved display (I'm assuming at a resolution like 3440x1440 at up to 100 Hz). You could even plug your display into the Thunderbolt 3 port! That port supports 40 Gbps so there's very little it couldn't drive that exists today, and there are all kinds of adapters and hubs that convert from whatever other protocol to Thunderbolt 3 (including DisplayPort 1.2). It also has a "native" mini-DisplayPort 1.2 connector though.
