Fun time waster to view with friends. Acting is bad - barely a story and the director's 12 year old son might be the best one in the movie.
But it has cool effects with plenty of gore and multiple Frankensteins and yes they remind us that the monster's was not named Frankenstein.

This is a rather smart dark comedy starring Ryan Reynolds as a socially ackward schisophenic who hears voices in the form of his pet dog and cat. The dog is supportive while the cat eggs him on to explore his dark side.
The film has an absurdist tone and handles Ryan's psychological split deftly.
Ryan shows us again that he's a far better comedian than an action hero.
