Wolfgang Petersen's do-or-die high-seas epic makes a smooth transition to DVD from Warner Bros. A gorgeous, anamorphic, 2.35:1 widescreen transfer and Dolby 5.1 Sound brings the titular storm howling to life. In addition, the disc is awash in extras, including a collection of commentaries from director Petersen, author Sebastian Junger, and key members of the visual effects team. Each provides unique insights into the making of the movie as well as into the real story that inspired it. The DVD also includes a "making of" special that first aired on HBO, a documentary on the real "perfect storm" of 1991, a host of storyboards and concept art, and the obligatory trailers and cast and crew bios. Overall, this DVD takes what was essentially a big-budget popcorn flick and outfits it with enough sights and sounds to make it a rather seaworthy addition to someone's collection.
The comedy series' third season is all about the chemistry between Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and Nick (Jake Johnson) and their dynamic with the rest of the gang as the two of them go from being "just friends" to "boyfriend and girlfriend." On the heels of Season 2's big romantic finale, the newly minted lovebirds escape to Mexico on a whim, unsure of how to proceed in these unfamiliar roles. Upon their return, Schmidt (Max Greenfield) has trouble adjusting to the new relationship, and so he spends a great deal of time actively trying to break them up. In other events, the loft gains two new members: Original loftmate Coach (Damon Wayans Jr.) returns; and Winston (Lamorne Morris) adopts a cat.

Great color, sharpness, size, and meets all of my home needs...only think that I don't like is that the base of the monitor does not extend for adjustment of the monitor height while sitting on my desk.
Legitimate business opportunities are pursued for SAMCRO in the sixth season of Sons of Anarchy. Elsewhere, Jax (Charlie Hunnam) secures a new alliance for the club, while Clay (Ron Perlman) seeks protection. Later, when the clubhouse is attacked, the men are forced to come face to face with the demons of their past, and Jax discovers a secret that will change his life forever.
I love this series and am saddened to see it end. However, I appreciate Kurt Sutter for the same reason. To end a series so that the story line follows your vision and not just continues to be a money maker for you, is something you rarely see anymore. I love that he is so passionate about the series, the work he puts into it and most of all, how appreciative he is towards the large fan base.
I think this is an excellent movie for children. It is inspiring to see the many children with autism who have now begun to speak and sing along with the movie when ordinarily have no voice.
