It's the '80's all over again

The last Bryan Ferry album I bought was Bete Noire back in 1987. The first three tracks off this new CD sound like they jumped right off that CD and his voice sounds just as good now as it did then. There are also resemblances to Roxy Music's Avalon and perhaps his own Boys and Girls as well. If you are a fan of those CD's you will enjoy this one as well.

Enjoyable movie for baseball fans

I would actually give this three and a half stars. It's a good movie, not a great one but certainly worth watching if you are a baseball fan or have a chlld who is.

If able I would have given this three and half stars. There are a few clunkers on there that I would have left in the box she found them in but most of it is good and if you are a Stevie Nicks fan its worth having.

All in all this is a strong album with some great songs. The CD hits a little slow patch about half way through but ends on a strong note. Not one his classics but a very good CD in 2014 with great musicianship.

One of the best tribute concerts ever

This is a reissue of one of the best rock tribute concerts ever - great collection of performers and songs. Unfortunately, many of the people who played at this 1992 are no longer with us, and while they added two extra tracks from the rehearsals they failed to add in some great performances that were also left off the original release, such as George Thorogood's Wanted Man, Sophie B. Hawkins' I Want You. and Eric Clapton's Love Minus Zero. Some of these are on the DVD.

What's not so great: They ommitted some great performances from the original show

This is the second remastering job on Lucinda's William's first album to gain some notoriety among the music press and fans, with a second CD added of a concert from the same time span. The remastering of the original CD sounds great, as does the live CD, and the music is as good as the sound. A must for any Lucinda Williams fan.
