I am just starting to experiment with this camera. Avoiding auto focus, I have taken some very nice photos of flowers, which I plan on using as a source for my watercolor painting. I bought this camera after much research. I wanted a lighter weight, smaller DSLR. The tripod or STM lens will help steady my aging grip.

I read reviews that said noisy on top speed. I think it's noisy at every setting. I turn it off frequently . It is still giving off a plastic smell when it is on. It does clean the air but so did my last air cleaner which was a different brand and ran almost silently for many years.

I have always used a flip phone but it was so annoying to text someone.
I now use my phone for texting more than anything. It also takes a good photo and I can hear very clearly when I do call someone. I bought a hard case and screen savers so I don't worry about tossing the phone in my purse. The case makes it a little clunky but easy to spot since it is purple.
I do love the $ I'm saving now that I don't have a contract. $40.00 a month is enough data and voice for me with unlimited texting. Even the clerk at Best Buy was surprised at the inexpensive monthly cost. Good reception through AT&T .
