Good movie, until...

Wow, ok, I really expected to hate this movie, but it's actually not bad until... this horrible, horrible version of Doom shows up. Whoever was making this movie apparently got Dr. Doom and the Super-Skrull or the Super-Adaptoid confused, because the character in this movie is FAR closer to either of them than any version of Doom. Good effects, decent story, decent (for the most part) acting, HORRIBLE Doom. The sad part is I was loving his portrayal BEFORE he got his powers. And it's the negative zone. Call it what it is, not "planet zero". Apparently they thought it was a 50's drive-in film or something.

It works. It does its job. It's as close as we could find to what my wife wanted. The instructions, however, are completely useless. I literally had to look up videos to figure out how to take the case apart to be able to put it on the phone in the first place. After that, though, no complaints, other than maybe that the film that covers the home button is a little odd.

Exceptional movie

I wasn't actually expecting much from it, but it is a phenomenal movie. If Damon doesn't win best actor, there is something very, very wrong. One of the best things about it is the treatment of science. There are some fantastical elements but, for the most part, it's based on real science and it's not over-explained. If you know what a hexadecimal number system is, great, if not, you'll still enjoy the movie just fine. One of the biggest surprises is Donald Glover. It's a very small role, but he steals every scene he's in. I honestly don't know what type of person WOULDN'T enjoy this movie.

Excellent player, but no cable

Seriously, how can you not include a HDMI cable? I guess at least it has a power cord (unlike the New 3DS). Other than that though, the only gripe is the remote doesn't have ff/rw, just chapter skips. That seems like a rather large oversight. Due to this, the TV remote is actually more useful to control the player than the player remote. That's never good. Not to mention that it uses some over-sized button battery instead of AAAs.
Complaining aside, though, it's an excellent player to be the first of it's kind. Well worth the money. It makes me REALLY regret not getting a HDR television.

Excellent transfer. I can't wait to see a Tarantino film in 4k. The plot loses itself at times, but overall it's a pretty good movie. GET HDR. It's worth it.

I am wanting to upgrade my current tv. I am looking only at Samsung. This model looks great, but I see that it has a smart remote with microphone.
I have 2 questions. (1) Does the tv have any built in microphone or camera (voice recognition or motion control) and (2) can you use a standard remote with this - one w/o voice recognition (microphone)?

I'm reasonably sure the mic and motion control are only within the remote (think wiimote). As for 2, likely, but you would probably be cutting yourself off from some functionality.

Does this tv have pic in pic?
Yes it does, but I've not actually tried it out to see how well it works, but the option is there.
