Bought these to expand a third gen starter kit I purchased around christmas. After taking the plunge with $50 bulbs, it works just as I expected. Accurate colors and fast enough response time for my needs. I really like how I can automate my whole home based on preset schedules, or turn on and off certain lights when I get home. Only downsides I've come across are buggy software when rearranging light bulbs room to room solved by a total reset. Also, I wish Alexa was more integrated, as you can only turn lights on and off, not the color. Price is the biggest barrier to entry for people on the fence, but if you can afford it, I would definitely recommend. Its an awesome home upgrade!

Bought this one after purchasing the flimsy smart cover. The case offers complete protection and is much sturdier. Also covered with much nicer materials. Only downside is the price, which is why I went with an open box item, and saved $30.

Disappointing Assembly

I generally like incase products and find the materials and designs they come out with to be top notch and thoughtful.
However, when I brought this home from the store I noticed that the case was a bit unsturdy. Turns out that the tracks used to prop the iPad up were glued on crooked making this a big quality control check fail.
Notified customer service and waited for a response for 2 weeks before finally going back to the BBY store to return the item. Went with a better quality case from a different manufacturer and I am glad I did.
What's great about it: Materials, Good Protection
What's not so great: Bulky, poor assembly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
