Watching the Replacements makes me wonder just how many athletes are out there with talent, but just not quite the talent level to make the NFL? Or possibly who underperformed in a workout for a team.
Keanu Reeves plays a believable former quarterback with some talent, and the mishmash of characters around him, make it such a fun movie! Law enforcement and criminals playing on the same football team as scab players equals fun!

This is not a movie like a Beautiful Mind, portraying accountants as only number crunchers or mathematician types. Ben Affleck makes being an accountant seem like the best job in the world. Helping people keep their farms by assisting with their taxes, helping the little people succeed...
Oh wait, people probably want to hear about the action, and the fighting that made this movie so enjoyable! I won't spoil the fun too much, but Ben does really well to be believable as an autistic, sharp shooting action star. It is a great ride, and an interesting story. Buy it, rent it, or stream it, but watch this movie!

After seeing a preview for Hello, My Name is Doris on a different DVD, I was happy to see it available at a good price. The movie did not let down the impression we got from the preview!
Sally Field does a tremendous job acting as a quirky, hoarding woman, making her way through life, only to find a younger man that motivates her to change her ways. The scene where her family comes to help her declutter her house, and she flips out was so perfectly portrayed! I believed she was a hoarder and had emotional attachment to the items others saw as trash.
It is a perfect date night movie, enjoy!

This is a tremendously uplifting movie! About a person, unwilling to accept that he is not good enough to be an Olympian! He takes on the sport of ski jumping, having never tried it before, to qualify for the Olympics. It is based on a true story, so anyone that remembers Eddie the Eagle from the Olympics, this movie displays the journey to the Olympics in such a perfect way.
I would recommend this movie to ANYONE! It is for all ages, to show that never give up attitude, to show that losing is okay and not the end of the world, and if you do fail, get up and try again!

For movie goers that enjoy Quentin Tarantino, this is another success! He basically has the whole movie set in one cabin in the middle of nowhere, that people are stuck at due to a blizzard.
It is an interesting story, good acting, and not to spoil things, but it is a Tarantino movie... expect blood, death, and more blood.
This movie deserved the praise it got during the awards season of 2016. Enjoy it!

I bought this movie during the Black Friday savings, and was not sure what to expect. I remembered seeing the previews for it, and after watching it, I would recommend it to other people that enjoy sci-fi movies. It keeps you thinking, when you think you have a clue, something changes and redirects you. In the end, things are probably what you would guess early on, but the movie makes you question it throughout.

The first Independence Day was a favorite movie of mine, so I had high hopes (with knowledge this is a sequel...). It was a good movie, and did entertain, but it was not as good of a movie as the first one.

Chris Evans does love super powers

Push was a better movie than I expected. Chris Evans is a fun actor to watch, and apparently he loves to be a character with super powers... Human Torch (in Fantastic Four), Captain America, and this character. It's a very interesting take on evolution of humans into metahumans.
I like the story, but not that big of a fan of the screachers, who seem to have the most power, and able to kill anyone with their screams. Yet of course they find a way to defeat them...
Other than that, it was a good story, giving some unexpected turns and turnarounds, leading to the ending we all can see coming.
