Sandisk is the SD SDXC SD SDHC or SD SDXC brand card to get. They simply work, and are both fast and reliable. I don't use anything else in my Nikon, nor in my Raspberry Pi's. I also use them with perfect reliability as a place to backup critical documents. Great cards.

Great Drive for a Home NAS

The Red series by Western Digital has been fantastic in my Media Server. I have 8 2 TB drives in it, and I have been running ZFS in a RAIDZ-2 configuration without a hitch for some months. Several of the drives have been in the server for over a year, and not a single error has occurred. Since they support TLER, these drives are great for RAID arrays (both software and hardware).

I've tried & owned a number of tablets including Kindle Fires, Nexus 7's, and several generations of iPads, and I've not been happy with any of them. This tablet is fast, seemingly just the right size for reading glossy magazines on, and has a microsSD slot, and quite a bit of on board storage. The display is gorgeous, and after I changed the Launcher as customizable as I could want! Battery life is so so, which is the price one pays for the glorious screen!
IMO this is a tough tablet to beat.
