Bought this "open box" so I got a good deal on it. I wasn't sure how great the bass would be on this low priced sound bar, but it sounds really good. Highs sound clear as well. Only negative is I wish it had a digital display to show volume, sub levels, etc. Other than that, this is a solid performer for the price.

An Emmy-winning adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery's novel by the same name, this is a Canadian TV production which follows the life of a feisty young girl who is adopted by a bachelor farmer and his sister who have decided to adopt a boy and have several surprises due them when Anne arrives. Part of a series that goes through her winning a place in their hearts and home, it continues on through her youth and the blossoming of young love. This particular episodes deals with her first tentative encroachments into social functions and dealing with the loss of a loved one.

The sequel begins where Anne of Green Gables left off and continues the story. Anne of Green Gables and the sequel together are very long, but both movies are so entertaining that you don't even think about how long they are. The image quality leaves a lot to be desired (I wish a Blu-ray disc was available), but I bought this movie knowing it wasn't the greatest quality picture because the story is so great.....and I pretty much never buy DVDs anymore!

I love this movie. I will readily admit to you that I am a 35 year old man, and I will repeat it: I love this movie. If you've read other reviews you know most everyone is raving about this movie as well. It truly is very entertaining for a person of almost any age. I gave it 4/5 stars simply for the image quality, it just leaves a lot to be desired. Also, it would have been nice to include 2 DVDs instead of a 2 sided DVD....not a big deal, but it would have been a little more professional looking in my opinion.

I bought this for my kitchen, to have better sound quality than one of those little portable speakers. Plus I wanted the option to play a cd and listen to the radio. To me, the sound quality is very good. I would describe it as sounding "warm." High notes sound clear and the bass is good for its size. There are different settings to adjust the tone, bass, etc., but it sounded good right out of the box to me. If you're realistic I think you'll be more than satisfied with the sound. Though my kitchen is a small room, It seems to go pretty loud as well.
I also like its small size as its smaller than most other similar systems out there for sale. I love the bluetooth option, though the sound cuts in and out at times. I'm not sure why this happens. If I keep my phone still the problem goes away. It would have been nice to have AM in addition to FM - there are people out there who still listen to AM :-)
Overall I am happy with my purchase as I like the features, sound, size, looks and price of the system ( I bought it on sale). I would definitely recommend this to anyone out there looking for a compact stereo for a smaller room.
