Great Sound, But...

I received the FREEDOM 2' a few days ago, and I love the way they sound. They have a very nice sound to them, and you can fine tune it through the Jaybird app, or even download presets others have made. I really like that. The main issue I'm having is that they do not fully seal in the ear canal. Because of this, the great sound you get when they seal in your ear is lost. They then sound like a cheap set of headphones. I've tried all the tips, and I tried them all over ear and under ear, and they constantly come out. Another issue I noticed is that the Bluetooth randomly disconnects. I have several other sets of Bluetooth headphones, and this is the first set that I noticed do this. It's almost sounds like the Bluetooth is changing channels, and pausing while it does this. This happens when my phone is in my pocket and I have the FREEDOM 2's on. The Bluetooth range is small. I'll walk about 15-20 feet away from my phone and the FREEDOM 2's start to lose signal. Another issue I have with these is that when I wear these under ear with the wire behind my head, the left ear is constantly being pulled on, or pulled out. This is very annoying. Adding the "battery block" for another 4 hours of use compounds this issue. Over ear seems to be the way to go, but this gives the worst "seal" in the ear. I tried the included clip as well, and all this does is make you keep your head facing forward, because if you turn your head left or right it pulls the headphones right out of your ear. I wanted to love them, but it's more of a love-hate thing.

Amazing Projector!

I chose this projector over others because of the higher color and white lumens. I wanted to be able to watch in lighted rooms without much loss in picture quality. This projector did not disappoint. I was watching TV via SlingBox/Chromecast on my medium grey wall in my kitchen with about a 100" diagonal screen around 5pm while making dinner. My kitchen is on the west side of the house, and I have a 6' slider glass door that was open, so there was plenty of sunlight coming in, and the picture looked phenomenal. I'm really looking forward to taking this projector camping and watching movies on the side of my 30' camper. The kids are going to love it. I could also see myself projecting onto my garage door and watching football or hockey while having a bonfire and a refreshing beverage.
A couple of things to note:
There is no "audio out" on this projector. I bought an HDMI audio extractor/splitter to allow me to connect to an AUX port on a portable speaker, this was a game changer as far as sound goes, because the speaker on the projector is not that good.
The fan is louder than I expected or care for, but there is an option to put the projector into "ECO" mode and then you can barely hear the fan, but you take a performance hit on brightness. If you use an audio splitter like I mentioned earlier, you could easily overpower the fan noise with a portable speaker.

This WRT32X router is phenomenal! It's easy to setup, and the GUI is easy to navigate. There are a few small issues I have with the WRT32X. One is that it's not controllable from the Linksys app. Another is that there are no parental controls. This being primarily a gaming router, I can sort of understand the absence of these features. Also there are issues with some games, Black Ops 3 in particular, where you must manually forward ports for this game to get an open NAT. These issues could easily be fixed with firmware updates. I've been in contact with Linksys about the port forwarding issue, so they are aware of it. WiFi range is fantastic in my 1000 sq/ft house. All of the Linksys routers I've used in the past have been really good for gaming, and this one is no different. I get a steady consistent ping in multiplayer games, which is a huge deal in FPS type games.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I received the WeBoost. This is fairly easy to install. I ran all the wires loose at first to make sure the WeBoost would work properly. After I knew it worked, I went back and hid all the wires. I must say, I am impressed with the signal improvement. I checked my signal before during and after using the WeBoost, and it does work. Before I placed my phone in the cradle, I had only two signal bars. When I placed the phone in the cradle, the signal bars jumped to four bars immediately, sometimes going to max, all five bars. When I removed my phone, the bars went back to two. In my area, it's not hard to get a signal, and there are no dead zones that I know of, but I do a lot of traveling up north, and constantly running into dead zones, so I'm anxious to try this out on my next trip.

A Nice Printer.

I used this printer to help make a prop for my daughters ice skating show. It worked great. It prints images very fast. I also printed up a recipe for smoking beef tenderloin and selected the print on both sides option to save paper, and it also printed very past. The "air print" or "direct print" works good too, but I wish there were more options available. It's basically just print and hope it come out right.
Now a days, most printers are very close to the same when it comes to quality and speed. I try to select my printers based on current selling price, and how much the replacement ink cartridges cost. This printer being so new, there's no telling what the actual selling price will be, but the MSRP is $199, and no current price on the ink cartridges (HP 64), which are small, and you have just two. One for black, and one for cyan, yellow, magenta. I don't usually like the all in one color cartridge. My wife has school starting back up soon, so we will soon find out how much ink costs, and whether or not it's worth replacing the the ink, or getting a new printer.

A Very Good Gaming Mouse.

Let me start by saying that I'm comparing this to my current mouse, which is an older Logitech G700s. Comfort wise, the G703 wins hands down. It is a very comfortable mouse, and tracks very well. Especially if your use Logitech's software. I allows you to tune the G703 to your gaming surface, and it also has presets for Logitech's own mouse pads. I used the G703 mouse to play a bit of Black Ops 3 today, and have somewhat mixed feelings on it. For starters, there are a lack of buttons. There are basically three programmable buttons, 4 if you don't need to change DPI in game. This may not be a big deal to anyone else but me, but I found the lack of left and right clicks on the scroll wheel a bit of a disappointment. On my G700s, I use them for being able to select and activate score streaks. Again, it's probably just me affected my this. A side note on the DPI button, you can change your DPI in game, but there's nothing on the G703 to tell what DPI profile you are on. I constantly change DPI profiles depending on what weapon I plan on using in game. Another thing that sort of bothered me was the placement of the sensor. It is almost directly in the center of the mouse, but on my G700s, It's placed about 1/3 from the front of the mouse, which makes movements easier compared to the G703 at the same DPI. Another issue I have is that the mouse feels light. It comes with a 10g weight, but even after adding that, the G703 feels too light for my liking. As far as a wireless mouse goes, this one is top notch. I didn't notice any lag, and the mouse performed flawlessly during matches, which is impressive. If I didn't already own a fantastic Logitech mouse, I probably wouldn't notice any of the things I wrote here, and I'm sure after I have a bit more time with the mouse, I'll have it tuned to exactly how I like it. Overall, it's a very good gaming mouse.

Perfect Indoor Grill!

Let me start by saying that I grill outdoors nearly 365 days a year. I grill in the rain, snow, etc, but not anymore! Today I finally got a chance to use this grill because I've been camping nearly ever since It showed up at my house. I cooked some pork tenderloin and some garlic bread, and it came out amazing. Tenderloin normally takes about 24-26 minutes on my normal grill, and this indoor grill cooked it about the same in the same amount of time. If anything, I probably could of cooked it a couple minutes less to be perfect. On top of that, there was practically no smoke. The only thing that made smoke was the garlic bread, but it was covered in butter, and it was just a tiny bit of smoke. Clean up was very easy, and basically consisted of using a wet paper towel while the grill was still warm. Overall I'm very impressed, and can see many uses for this, especially if you live in an apartment with strict no BBQ laws/rules.

They're Okay.

This is a decent set of Bluetooth earbuds, but a mediocre personal speaker. Most of the time when I was using these, I was around people, so I was using the earbuds, which have a good sound to them. I barely used the speaker mode because I was around people, and that would be rude. When I did try the speaker mode, they have decent volume, but the sound is hollow and tinny. The Bluetooth range was very good, but most of the time I would have my phone in my pocket. Also I'm not big on wearing a speaker/headphones around my neck, it's not that comfortable to me, and I feel it makes me look funny.

Excellent Noise Canceling

JBL packed a lot into this headset. Noise canceling with 3 levels of ambient awareness so you can either be oblivious to all noise, or be semi alert in busy areas. You can control these settings either directly on the headphones, or via the JBL app. The app gives you some more settings to control, and also something called TruNote that calibrates the audio. There is also an option to update the firmware if needed. I used them while cutting the lawn, and I could barely hear my mower, and they were very comfortable. Very impressive! They are lightweight in comparison to other headphones I own. They also come with a cable that allows you to use them without being powered on, and has a built in mic and control button, but they sound much better when powered on and connected via bluetooth. And they have that signature JBL sound to them.

Having used mostly gaming mice, this MX Master 2S is a highly functioning, customize-able mouse. You can switch the functions of any button to almost anything you can think of using the Logitech's software suite. This being primarily a wireless mouse, there is no noticeable lag when in use, and can even be use it while charging. It is very comfortable, and it felt just right in my large hand. The scroll wheel is nice, it can be unlocked to quickly scroll through large documents or web pages. I would not recommend this mouse for gaming, but it would work in a pinch. Other than that, this is a fantastic mouse that I would recommend.

Unfortunately, no. It has an integrated Intel HD 520 with no dedicated video RAM. If your looking for a laptop to play those titles, look for one that come with at least and Nvidia GTX 940M. I believe to upgraded version of this laptop comes with that option.
