Well Designed Hard Protective Case for iPhone

The Insignia brand iPhone 14 Pro Max hard shell case is well made and very affordable.
The case is basic but does a good job of protecting the phone. The interior of the case is very smooth and won’t impact the finish of the phone when putting it on or taking it off. The edges are raised up in order to protect the corners and edges from being damaged during a fall. All areas of the phone are well protected and the raised edge will not interfere with a glass screen protector if you use one. On the back, outlining the camera is a slightly raised area that perfectly outlines the camera lenses to also protect them. With the built in magnetic ring it will sit on your wireless charger securely and charge as expected.
There are several designs of this hard shell type case so no matter what your preference, you will be able to find the right one for you or your family members.
The case is well made and fits the phone very securely. I would absolutely recommend this line as an affordable option to protect your iPhone.

Effective and Affordable Case Option

The Insignia brand iPhone 14 Pro liquid silicone case works very well and is very affordable. I am a big fan of this shade of blue, it looks really sharp. The case is basic but well made with a soft interior to help avoid scratching the phones finish while putting it on or taking it off. There is a soft feel to the case with a slight non-slip feel so it wont easily slip out of your hand making it less likely to be dropped on accident.
The edges are raised just enough to protect the corners and all areas of the phone well and will not interfere with a glass screen protector if you use one. On the back, outlining the camera is a slightly raised area that perfectly outlines the camera lenses to also protect them. It has a built-in magnetic ring to help with wireless charging. Being that the case is not overly thick, the charging works well and attaches to your chargers quickly.
The case is well made and fits very snug. I would absolutely recommend it as an affordable option to protect your iPhone.

The Insignia brand iPhone 14 Pro liquid silicone case works like a charm. My daughter loves the subtle pink color of this one. It’s a basic case but well made with a soft interior to help avoid scratching the phone body’s finish when you are putting it on or taking it off. There is a soft feel to the case and it doesn’t easily slip off your hand making it less likely to be dropped on accident.
The edges are raised all around the phone just enough to protect the corners, sides and top of the body well and will not interfere with a glass screen protector if you use one. On the back, outlining the camera is a slightly raised area that perfectly outlines the camera lenses. It has a built-in magnetic ring to help with wireless charging. The Insignia brand screen protectors are made well and are a top quality alternative to some of the other name brands on the market. They come in 3 or 4 packs depending on what you need and for the price, they are definitely worth it. They are anti-reflective so you won’t get much glare when using them under bright lights or outside. All of the glass screen protectors these days have various levels of shatter protection but honestly, I won’t be using a hammer to test it. You can tell by the thickness that these are going to last and with having a multi pack, as long as there is some care given to your phone, you won’t need to buy any others before your next upgrade.
One of the best things that comes with them in the box is the plastic guide that helps with installation. These make it so easy to line up and helps to limit bubbles that remain after laying it onto the phone.
Once installed they are next to invisible. Perfect thickness to be sturdy but not too much so that it interferes with your case. I would highly recommend these as a much more affordable option for your new iPhone 14 or 13 Pro Max.

Lightening Fast and Cool Lights

This 1TB SSD from Western Digital is an excellent addition for my storage needs.
The packaging looks cool as it is all black with white and orange lettering. Inside the box you have the hard drive, a USB-C to USB-C cable along with a USB-C to USB-A adapter in case you are still using that one and a quick install guide. The form factor of this drive is perfect. I would describe it to be about the size of a stick of RAM but with a protective enclosure around it. It is extremely light but the housing is well constructed and feels durable.
Plugged the drive into my laptop to test moving files back and forth and it was very impressive. I transferred 35 GB worth of movie files and it took just over one minute. Transferring files back to my internal drive was just as quick. The lights on the bottom of the housing are a cool addition. If using it on a Windows machine, you can download an application that helps you customize the lighting effects to your preferences. Another thing worth noting is the 5-year warranty. I use online storage as well as physical hard drives to protect my data but knowing if this has any issues in that period of time, I'm covered.
This drive is affordable and extremely fast. Definitely worth a look!

A Perfect Wireless Router with Upgraded Security

This router was so easy to setup and instantly made me feel like I had a more secure network overall.
First unboxing was quick and easy, the packaging was protecting the device perfectly because it’s a router, there isn’t a lot of extra bulk. Once open and I had everything out, the quick setup card had me downloading the Netgear Nighthawk app. Once I opened the app, it immediately began walking me through the device installation. First it was the physical install, screwing on the four antennas, plugging in power and finally connecting your incoming network cable.
Because I have an ATT router providing my existing wireless, I disabled that part within its settings before doing the installation to ensure there was no interruption due to duplicate network names. I wanted to be sure my new router had the same wi-fi name and security so that everything reattached without any trouble.
As I progressed, the Nighthawk software checked for a firmware update which there was and it only took a couple of minutes. Once done, it restarted and I was back in business. I can’t say enough about how good the setup and configuration was. It was the easiest I have experienced to date.
Connectivity has been solid. No drops, instant connections for all of the 25+ devices in my house that use it and the signal is very strong on each floor. I placed this one on the main level and even in the furthest corner away from the router on the second level, and it hasn’t even felt like there was any separation. With my AT&T router, it provided wi-fi from the second floor to the main level and basement, at times it was not very strong and we would lose connectivity. This router has made a significant difference and provides all of the signal strength you could ask for.
Lastly, the app is extremely useful. It helps you determine where you have device vulnerabilities by scanning them as they’re added to the network and then providing the necessary information on how to remediate it. It tells you the current device connection count and if you can potentially install the included Bitdefender Security onto them. This additional feature will mostly be available for your phones, tablets and computers and is good for a year.
In my opinion, you shouldn’t pass this one up. If you are looking to update your wi-fi infrastructure and boost your wireless connection signal strength and speed along with security, this is definitely a great choice!

Smaller Air Fryer Not to Be Underestimated!

This 3 quart Air Fryer is the perfect size for smaller meals. Three to four people at most but it does a great job at it. The digital controls on the front are easy to read and understand and the instruction book that is included is very thorough and gives some really helpful directions for various types of food.
The packaging is very appealing and my kids were especially intrigued by the Marshmello advertisement that was on it. In case you’re not familiar, he is a DJ who has performed with Bastille, Selena Gomez and others but has also done some cooking shows and videos showing people how to make various meals, some using this product.
The Marshmello line of air fryers comes in a couple of different sizes and colors to choose from. This 3-quart model is perfect for a college student or person with a small kitchen and comes in white, black, lavender and green olive. It will sit discretely in your space or, you can show it off in your kitchen depending on your preference.
We have used the non-stick “TurboCrisp” tray to make french fries, chicken nuggets, chicken cutlets and pizza rolls and they all came out great! In addition, we have roasted vegetables and baked potatoes. All of it came out perfectly and with no additional additives such as oil that would add unnecessary fats. As a cool bonus, there are a couple of silicone cupcake cups so you can make a quick dessert.
I would absolutely recommend this air fryer for any kitchen that wants a quick way to cook healthy snacks and meals! You will not be disappointed…

Wireless and Weatherproof 1080p Outdoor Camera

This camera is well constructed and has good protection of the power button and charging port if you do decide to expose it to the elements on a permanent basis.
First, I would like to point out that the packaging was well done, protects the contents and the device does not move around at all within it. Once open, you will see the “Wyze” base station that will need to be plugged in both for power and into your router to provide a signal to the camera. The camera itself, which has a good weight to it, is solid and well-constructed. It sits on a magnetic base that allows it to swivel a bit when getting it setup and into position. Also in the box was a USB charging cable for the camera, the power adapter for the base an RJ45 network cable and mounting screws if you want to secure the camera to a wall or ceiling, etc.
Setup was easy. I first charged the camera to ensure a full battery which only took about 30 minutes. While charging I downloaded the Wyze app to my phone so I was ready to do the setup. It went quickly and the app walked me through each step quickly. I turned the camera on and was able to pair it to the app and base easily. One item I will note is that I discovered that each base station will support up to four cameras so that’s good news if you need to add more coverage.
You have a couple of options for capturing video; you can pay for the service you deem appropriate which is affordable, there is even a name your price option that allows for short 12 second clips to be stored in the cloud. Other slightly more costly options enable additional features such as AI that helps tell the difference between people, cars, and other things that crosses its path. You can also add your own MicroSD card to expand your local storage and have it do continuous recording with a first in, first out method as the card fills up. A word of caution here is that the battery will not last as long as if it were recording on an as needed basis.
Regarding it being weather proof, I live in the Chicagoland area so it will be a true test as we head into the winter months. The video is very crisp and clear and it’s really nice that it has color capability at night, this is not typical for most products like this so it is a solid feature. You can zoom in as well as set your activity areas. There are a few other settings you can adjust to make this camera an effective solution for your home or business. So far, I am pleased with this camera and may add another one or two to help increase our coverage. I recommend it as an affordable option for security and peace of mind.

As soon as the Hover-1 Scooter / Hoverboard was unboxed and turned on, it was clear it was going to be a blast. First thing you will notice is its weight. It is heavy at about 15 pounds and definitely feels sturdy and well constructed. When I turned it on, my attention went immediately to the lights on the front and sides on the wheels, these make it look a bit more fun and will stand out for spectators as well as the rider. On the board is a battery indicator as well so you know when it is ready to go.
The pads on the device are rubber and will help prevent the rider from slipping off and the other important note is that when it says it is self balancing, it is true. One of the things I’ve seen with other models is that the scooter itself does not help the rider stay on by adjusting as needed. This one does. As my daughter climbed on, I held her hand the first time but the board itself compensated a bit back and forth so that once she was ready, it was easy to start her ride. It has a maximum weight capacity of about 160 pounds, will get up to 7 mph with a range of about 3 miles.
I am fairly certain that she has yet to hit the limit but she certainly had a great time for the hour or two she was riding it. A lot of fun for her and her friends. Highly recommend it.

I sometimes like to bring the volume on my headphones to one notch below maximum volume. If I do that with these while I'm at work will my coworkers around me being able to hear it very well while I'm wearing them or not too bad?
There is some sound that will leak out when turned all the way up but I tested this with my kids and they didn't feel it was that noticeable.

I see no where that tells me what the case is composed of - can you provide. I am concerned about how long it will last.
I don't know the exact materials however I can tell you that this is a solid case and the parts that hold the iPad in place are much more durable plastics than previous versions. Highly recommend this one.
