Great Gameplay but Overpriced Subscription Fee

The Backbone Controller is a great idea and helps to provide smooth gameplay for anyone used to playing on either a PlayStation or Xbox. The initial setup was very easy and once logged in I was able to download a couple games onto my iPhone so I could test everything. First off, in the hands, the controller feels nice. Not too different from a normal a console controller. I would compare it more to the Xbox controller physically but close enough to either one.
I really like this concept especially for when you are traveling and want to have gameplay with you. You can’t easily take your console with you when out and about but with your mobile device, you have so much at your fingertips
If you have the iPhone 13 Pro Max, there is a small adapter that helps it fit into place properly due to the camera. There is an accessory that either comes in the box or can be ordered for free depending on when you purchase it.
My only issue with this is that you have to sign up for a yearly subscription in order for it to have full functionality of the software and controller which is not cheap. At $99 for the device and another $49 per year to keep it all working well, this will get expensive. The membership is in fact optional but you will lose some of the software bonuses that make the total experience that much better.
Overall, good hardware and great addition to console gaming but I’m already paying for other services and this puts things over the budget.

Solid Printer, Average Features

I have a couple printers in my home since everyone needs one for something whether it’s work or school. Yes, we could consolidate but we haven’t…
This is my first “Brother” brand printer. I will start by saying the setup was not as smooth as some of the other devices I have used from other manufactures. This one required a bit more manual intervention to get it setup and going but once there, the quality was very good.
Once connected, it looked for firmware updates right away and once the password was in, this only took a few minutes. After the printer restarted, I was able to review options and applications such as printing pages for mazes, organizers, etc. Good feature but also something very common.
The print quality is good but not for photos (not advertised that way so all good). At roughly 17 pages per minute black and white, it is definitely dedicated to making sure those types of documents look their best. Add in some graphics and it’s still close to that speed and just slightly slower. The double sided option is something that is expected these days and also works very well.
The mobile app worked great once connected and I was able to print from within it. It also helps to keep track of ink, status and other features which is very helpful.
Overall, I am happy with this printer and feel that it could be a workhorse for a very small office setting or home with members of the family that are working on school and work projects.
Would I recommend, yes, but know there are better at the same price point.

The Frigidaire ¾HP Garbage Disposal is definitely one of the best I've used. Being in my home for 23 years, I have replaced a couple and this one is top of the list for the quality, speed and sound.
Installation was easy since it is very similar to other units with the same three bolt system at the neck. Make sure you have plumbers putty available when putting it in whether you use your existing one or put in new one, I like to redo the seal. I did not connect this to my dishwasher since it has its own drain and was one step I was able to avoid.
Once set to go, I tested the disposal unit with various items. Fruit skins or rinds, vegetables, meat and although I won't typically do it, chicken bones. I started with small ones and moved up from there. This thing went through them without any issue at all. Yes, it made some noise while chewing things up but it was by far more quiet than my previous disposals and I had absolutely no clogs or stoppages.
There is a magnetic ring you install on the outside under the sink around the neck to help keep things like silverware from falling all the way in. You can't protect these things from all of the possibilities but this can be a big help.
A disposal with a 10-year warranty and one that performs this well, it is definitely an upgrade for my kitchen.

Best Headset I've Owned

I have had the good fortune to try out several headsets for gaming, music, movies, etc. The Sony INZONE H9 wireless gaming headset is probably the best I've ever used.
Just like you'd expect, the packaging was sound as well as visually appealing but once out of the box and on your head, the first thing you notice is the comfort. They are extremely lightweight and you don't even realize you have them on after a while. Initial setup was simple and took no time at all. Also something that should be an expectation with products these days.
The surround sound is fantastic, you hear everything around you very clearly and at times might make you look behind you just in case it wasn't from the headset! The tone and bass are extremely good. I like my sound to be up pretty loud and there has yet to be any distortion. In regards to the microphone, those on the opposite end said that it was very clear and picked up my voice perfectly without a lot of the background noise that was going on at the time.
Sony is one of the best in the sound arena. You will not be disappointed in this headset.

Very Well Constructed and Great Tasting Coffee

The Ninja XL 14-Cup Coffee Maker is an excellent addition to my brewer collection. We drink a lot of coffee in my family so 14 cups is a really good amount for when you have people over, want to power through a tough morning of work or school or just lounge around the house on the weekend.
The machine itself feels very durable and well made. Even the glass carafe feels a bit thicker than many I have used in the past. It has a removable water container on the back which makes it easy to fill. On top of that is the cover of course but, also a coffee scoop to help you measure out for how much you are making. There is what they call a "brew basket" that the included gold mesh filter sits in. This makes everything very easy to clean and for me is a huge plus. If you prefer paper filters, you can use them instead.
The coffee maker itself is easy to setup. Once unboxed, I cleaned all of the parts with mild soap and water and brewed my first pot. The clock, delayed start along with the amount that you want it to brew are all very self explanatory. You can go for as little as two cups up to the full 14 and the owners guide helps you along with that part.
One of the items I like and I think helps with the taste of the coffee is the lid that has a spout that goes to the bottom of the carafe similar to how older style percolators are made. In my opinion, the opens the flavor of the coffee more. Speaking of flavor, there are multiple settings for your preferred taste, classic or rich. I have made a couple pots in both and prefer the rich setting but that is something you will decide on your own based on your taste buds. This coffee maker is certainly worth giving a try.

Happy So Far! Already Found a Couple Things to Fix

I was able to install the iOS app on my phone, create the account and get the LifeLock Standard edition registered very quickly. I am a previous Norton customer so it was simple to use the code to get this part added to my profile.
The setup of the identification monitoring was also a simple process. You enter your full name, address and any associated phone numbers. You enter your SSN, birthdate, drivers license information and up to five email addresses that you use for it to do a thorough scan and provide monitoring throughout all the corners of the web.
In addition to the normal personal information, you can add bank accounts, credit cards, insurance policy information and even gamer tags so that it can watch for any strange or unauthorized use of your information.
The app also does a good job of helping to guide you in freezing your credit via the three main credit monitoring companies. Additionally, you can put freezes on any new bank accounts being opened in your name. I had not heard of this one in the past and will be giving it a try.
Monitoring for your own information on the "dark web" is not something an individual can do very easily so using a company like LifeLock is a good idea. Ever since my credit was stolen a few years ago, I have always been overly cautious and try to do a lot on my own. This service brings that all together and helps me do it automatically. It provides you the help you need if something happens such as 24x7 live support and ID restoration services.
I'd definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to sleep better at night and not constantly be worrying about who's using your information without your knowledge.

Extremely Relaxing and Fun to Watch!

I think in these times of stress at work, at home, pandemic remnants, financial worries, etc. we all need an outlet. This Meditation Sand Table has been something I look forward to almost daily once home from work. I have the 16 inch version but there is also a 21 inch round option. From the instant I received it and unboxed it, I could tell that this was going to make me happy. The packaging was solid and the table itself was secure. Unboxing it was simple and getting it set up was done within minutes. Basically, take all of the protective packaging off, sort it all out in front of you and decide where you are going to put it. Spreading the fine sand with the included hand rake made that final step a snap. I thinned it all out evenly and put the glass over the top.
Once that was all done, I downloaded the app and created my account, etc. and powered on the table. I was able to pair it via bluetooth on the first attempt and right away it let me know that it needed to run a firmware update. The download and restart of the table was done within just a couple of minutes. Using my phone, I went through a few of the designs that the table can make and hit play on one. Instantly, the steel ball started moving, the lights were changing colors gradually and my design began to come to life!
There are a lot of designs to choose from, you can create playlists or just pick one at a time. It does seem as though there will be frequent updates to what is available so you can match them to certain occasions. After getting used to what I could do, I put on some music that I like and sat there and watched it go for quite a while. Picture sitting next to it on the sofa with soft music playing while you read a book or do your other favorite relaxing activity. Simply awesome!

This Solid State Drive (SSD) from Crucial hits the mark on everything. Out of the box, it worked like a charm. Installation is a breeze as it will only fit one way. Be sure it is pushed down into the slot completely to ensure no problems once you close everything up. I turned on my machine and was able to format it quick and easy with the disk utility.
Once ready to go, I started a large data transfer of about 200gb and it was faster than I had anticipated finishing in less than 10 minutes. I think it may have been able to complete quicker if I wasn’t using any other applications. I definitely recommend making this your primary drive, with the read and write speed of 3500 / 3000 MB/s your operating system will boot up noticeably faster.
This particular model comes in 500GB, 1, 2 and 4TB. Older model SSD’s use SATA and this generation has moved to NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory express). Early on, this method was mostly used in high end server and storage solutions as it is significantly faster than SATA but just as most everything else, prices have come down and become much more affordable for consumers. Another important aspect is that Crucial backs it with a 5-year warranty.
If you want to increase the speed of your machine overall from boot to general gaming or media use, you can’t go wrong with this as an option. Highly recommend it!

Extremely Comfortable but Lacking in Sound

Out of the box, the Corsair HS55 Stereo Wired Gaming Headset was self-explanatory. Plug it in and go. At a glance, they seem very well constructed and are lightweight which is very appealing when using or playing with them on for long periods of time.
When putting them on, you immediately notice the feel of the padding and extreme comfort. You can wear them for long periods of time and after a while, not even realize they are still on. The cushions are well constructed and should last a long time.
I don’t consider myself an audiophile but I know what I like. As for the sound for this headset, I felt like it was lacking. While playing, I wanted to turn up the volume but found that even at maximum, it wasn’t where I feel it should be. It’s loud but for the max setting, not loud enough. Although the treble and tones feel somewhat crisp, there is very little bass. I like to listen and feel the vibrations and, in this case, there really isn’t any. Additionally, the surround sound was not what you’d expect at this point in headset options. You know its good when you hear those footsteps behind you or coming from a certain direction, although they were there, it wasn’t distinct enough and left me feeling like I could have more.
Overall, the headset is okay for someone wanting a base or introductory set but for anyone that wants to be fully immersed, you can find better. It will get the job done, but for some, they will be left wanting more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect Portable Projector

I don’t use projectors very often and when I do it’s very casually. We will do an outside movie night against the garage door, or maybe set it up in the basement while watching basketball or football so that we can get a larger viewing area going and maybe the occasional presentation at work. For the price, quality, and ease of use of this projector, it makes it easy for me to feel like I’ll be using it more often.
Right out of the box it was neatly packed in its own cushioned carrying case and wrapped up nicely with a couple of velcro straps holding in place. Also inside, besides the instructions, were a remote (2 AAA batteries not included), a tripod that you can use to prop it up nicely on a table or other surface, the power cord, an HDMI cable (nice addition) and an AV cable to hook up to a an external source such as a DVD player or camcorder. There is also a cleaning cloth for the lens and two long cue tips for when you need to clean dust off the inside parts of the machine. There is a height adjustment screw built into the bottom but, in case that isn’t tall enough or doesn’t provide enough flexibility, it can be removed in order to install the tripod. I like this feature but make sure you tighten the screw sufficiently so the device doesn’t to tilt.
For video input, there is an HDMI port along with a connection for VGA devices. That probably won’t get much use but still provides flexibility in a pinch. Keep in mind you cannot hear sound if only using VGA, you will need an external sound source such as a Bluetooth speaker or, if using the HDMI cable you can then use the built in speaker. In either scenario, I prefer to use a separate speaker for higher sound quality. There are two USB ports but one is for media input and the other one is dedicated to hardwiring a connection for mirroring. Lastly there is an SD card reader and a headphone / auxiliary jack for the quiet times.
I was impressed with the 720p video quality out of this projector. It’s not full HD but it has a really good picture quality. I started at about 30 inches and moved out from there. I went out to about 100 inches and it began to get grainy to the point where focus wasn’t really helping. I feel that the sweet spot for the picture is at about 60 to 70 inches. It was crisp at this point and I was able to get the focus just right. There second dial on top just behind focus is to help correct the trapezoidal shape that may happen depending on placement. That helps you put it back into its correct rectangular shape.
The construction of this device is of good quality and it's small enough to make traveling with really easy. You can use it for pleasure or work. I would recommend giving this projector a shot, I feel it is worth it at this price.

Highly recommend using this as a cover. I would say that having a full case around it may also help protect the tablet further but you don’t have to have it.

Can you use the wireless mouse without programming it using the application? Because I’m interesting in online gaming but in the ps4 and I’m pretty sure you can’t download that application in a ps4. Is there a possibility I can use the mouse with a ps4?
I do not know about the PS4 use. I will say that on a pc / mac, you need to download the application in order to get the mouse to respond accordingly. Without the app, it was very sluggish and even with it, the responsiveness isn’t there until the machine fully boots and application starts.

im looking at getting a ipad mini 4 next week and i would like to get these headset if they work for ipad mini 4 for watching stuff on ipad mini 4 and listening to music on it.
These have worked flawlessly on my MacBook Pro, iPhone 6 Plus and iPad Air 2. I would think you would be ok.
