The best of their both worlds

They started as metalcore and delved into a modern thrash metal sound. It works well in this album. This album shows a surface of their talent and ability, almost as if to say they definitely have a lot more to offer by mixing what they began as and what influenced their path. They do well with both for a great portion of this album.

A very cohesive sound

This band is one that pleasantly surprised me since it was not just another metal band. It tells a story, through music and not just through words. Like the album's title, this band strives to have that "epic" sound, and it does it well, it does it majestically. Has a little bit of everything, from orchestral to ballad to powerful metal and even eastern type influence. Very unique sound.
