I found this film to be compelling and kept me riveted to the screen. The acting is excellent, SFX equally so and a solid story line. Some reviewers found it boring. I don't get that, except that there weren't any car chases to keep their attention. It isn't deep by any stretch of the imagination, but it is thought provoking.
I do tire of Hollywood's constant portrayal of anyone in uniform as mindless dolts who just do what they are told. THAT is an alternate reality.

Best Version of Tull's Most Accessible Album

Aqualung is perhaps Tull's best album. It is certainly their most accessible in that not only do the individual songs have their appeal, the album as a whole is a great listening experience. That can't be said for a lot of their catalog. While "Thick As A Brick," "Passion Play", etc. have their moments, as an overall listening experience, many find them lacking, sometimes tedious. That is not the case with Aqualung. As an aside, my personal favorite is "Benefit", but that's a discussion for another time.
Regarding this set, you can read various opinions on the net about the quality of the remastering, but the reason for buying this set is the DTS DVD Audio 5.1 mix and the Quad mix done for the 1974 Quadrophonic LP. Those are a revelation.

This is a great deal for all the MI movies. I'm not going to review the films -- if you're buying this you are probably already familiar with them -- but the actual physical product. I already had these movies, but will take them to the used movie/CD store and actually come out a little ahead because of the sale purchase price -- and they will take up less space on my shelf.
These are the original issue discs. They have not been remastered since their release on blu ray. For that reason, the earlier films don't look quite as good as the most recent -- but all still excellent, just not quite as good as they are capable of making now.
All in all, a great value and worthwhile purchase.
