this hard drive is just as good as the previous western digital hard drive that I used for a storage of my life photos, videos, and music. every 5 years I get a new on to replace the current one. then the current one is my backup for the next five years. great drives.

This was easy to install, but works very inconsistently, even the supplied sensor key works very inconsistently. could never get the security feature to work right. even after the download that allowed auto calibration. I was still able to unlock door when the phone was inside the house. also have to wait too long to open door. very slow response. I went back to a keypad lock. after my daughter could not get in because her phone was dead.

I bought this camera for my daughter who loves taking pictures. this is her first dslr camera. Its an excellent camera, that comes with 2 lenses. gives her a chance to see what It would be like to be a professional with out spending a lot of money. The amount of pictures it can take and video is awesome.

Can I download and upload remotely?
I have noticed in other reviews that purchasers of My Cloud are having trouble accessing files from anywhere outside the home network (ie over the internet from remote sites). Is this an issue? Also, the product description states you need to have a Dropbox (or other) account to access your files. So does that mean I'm also paying for a larger Dropbox account just to use My Cloud when away from home? Thanks.
I would recommend not using the icloud drive. get a good router that has a cloud drive option. then install a regular drive to the router. let the router handle the work. no extra account needed. also. any type of cloud system you use will leave a hole in your network so hackers will be able to find a way in.
