Good performance/bang for buck

This drive is small and portable. I got it for $60 and feel it was a great deal. The slower spindle speed is offset by the density of the smaller platter; making this a good performer. The only downside is the casing/housing/ It's aluminum, so it's prone to show scratches. Also, be careful not to knock it over or drop it while the drive is spinning, not much protection from that and could kill the drive.

Will this modem limit capabilities of Airport Extreme?
I want to get and Airport Extreme to put downstream of my modem, hoping to get the advantages of the 802.11ac Wi-Fi technology and dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. Does this modem limit the signal such that those features won't help me?
