A40 - Dark Grey (2015)

I have an A40 Headset, not the TR edition, that I bought. The receipt says they were purchased for $199.99 due to price match policy. There is a 2 year warranty on the receipt that shows "150-199" and is still valid through Janury 2017. My headphones are discontinued. I did not purchase them for $249.99, but I was told that I could replace them for that amount when I purchased them. My question is, will I still be able to replace them with the new TR Edition?
If Best Buy told you that you would be able to purchase a new headset for $249.99, then you should be able to depending upon the warranty policy. Some companies require you to send the defective item to them to have fixed or replaced. If the maker of the headset told you that the more expensive headset would be acceptable, then that means they are taking some legal responsibility if Best Buy refuses. I do understand wanting to get a new set while you are able to for free. Just do not abuse the system.
