A Classic Horror Franchise At Unbeatable Price

7 films for less than the price of 1 normal Blu-Ray, including the first release of the original SAW in its Un-Rated form, how can you beat it? It's true that all the special features from the individual releases are no present on this set but it does include UltraViolet Digital Copies of each film which the original releases did not include. The Digital Copies almost make this set worth it immediately. The picture and audio quality of all the films is on par with the individual releases, no need to worry about compression due to all the films being put on 3 discs. This is the most affordable value to get all the SAW films and prepare you for the upcoming SAW VIII.

Take It For What It Is

Wolf Cop was made for $1 million after winning a contest based on a trailer concept. When you consider this the actual film came out surprisingly good, even though the story takes an abrupt turn in the last act out of nowhere. Based on the credits we can expect Wolf Cop 2 sometime this year and that will probably have a more streamlined story and approach, but as is this is still a fun movie and shows what the inventiveness of young filmmakers can do even if they don't have a lot of money at their disposal.

Too often a film wins the Oscar and you find out the movie doesn't live up to expectations, that is not the case with Birdman which has a completely original visual style and story that will keep you interested. Michael Keaton and the rest of the actors are amazing throughout the picture as well. This is definitely a movie that will keep you interested in watching it time and time again.

While his new sound might be a shock for some listeners Pale Emperor shows the continual growth of Marilyn Manson as an artist. You can hear in each song just how much thought went into each lyric and musical component. This is not the Marilyn Manson from Antichrist Superstar. His lyrics have more punch and the sound of the music is not as heavy in sound but are just as heavy in meaning as they ever were in the past. It is rare that an artist tries to evolve instead of simply cashing in on past success and Marilyn Manson continues to prove he is one of the few that isn't afraid to change and try something new.
