I'm a big Roots fan and was a little disappointed when I saw this was their next project after Undun. I had enjoyed their collaboration with John Legend but at least that seemed to fall in their wheelhouse. Don't get me wrong, Elvis Costello is great but just didn't seem like a good partner for a hip-hop band like Roots.
I checked it out on Itunes the day it came out and immediately changed my tune. It was absolutely fantastic and a perfect fit. Somehow each managed to maintain their signature sound while making something that also making something that sounds altogether different! At the moment, Stick Out Your Tongue is my favorite but I like it all so much, I change every few days. Unless something amazing comes along by years end, this will likely be my favorite of 2013.
I was a little bummed that Black Thought didn't make any appearance. He at least got a few verses on the Wake Up! album but is not found here.
My only complaint is the overpricing of the Deluxe Edition. I almost always buy Deluxe for the extra stuff. Most of the time, the pricing is reasonable ($9.99 Regular/$11.99 Deluxe). This one ran at $15.99 on opening day @ Best Buy only including 3 bonus tracks. Similar pricing on Itunes... How do these guys justify $6 more for 3 songs?... I try to buy physical copy but it's crazy that I could've purchases the regular edition then grabbed the extras for $1.29 a piece and still saved money. I don't get it... they did the same with Kings of Leon too!

What's great about it: The Roots are great... Elvis Costello is great... together they manage to bring out the best in eachother.
What's not so great: The Deluxe Edition was rediculously overpriced @$15.99. PS- Black Thought is nowhere to be found.
To be fair, I love good/bad movies. They are a lot of fun if you're into that sort of thing. This one is one of the best I've seen in a while. Terrible computer effects? check; bad acting? check; hilariously bad dialogue? check again.
I wasn't completely sold until a scene near the middle where a character comments on some homeless people he just passed. I've never laughed so hard in my life. We rewound it about 4 times before moving on.
There is also a bonus fake preview for a movie called Bio Cop after the credits. I've crossed my fingers in hopes that movie gets made too!

The NETGEAR SOHO Ethernet Unmanaged Switches provide easy and affordable network connectivity to small offices and home/offices. With these Plug-and-Play switches, you can quickly and easily expand your network connections to multiple devices, with no configuration required.
Our internal office network needed to hit the road for some off site data entry activities. My boss tasked me with making sure that as many as 8 computers could link to eachother independently of our office network so we could leave the office but still be connected, This guy did the trick and did so with no snags or crazy installation or extra hardware purchases. We love it!!

What's great about it: Unlike most computer stuff it actually worked as described with little to no extra steps/software
What's not so great: It seemed a bit pricey for what it was but work paid for it so that didn't effect me : )
Great album. These dudes are always hilarious but still manage to crank out listenable tunes at the same time. My wife even likes it and she usually hates comedy and/or hip-hop/dance stuff.
