If you are looking for something to provide significant drop protection, look elsewhere. This is not designed for it. However if you want a case that is rigid, keeps a very thin profile, covers all sides, and looks great on the phone then this is a solid option. Fair warning, there is no raised edge on the edge so it will not protect the phone's face if placed on a tabletop face-down. Not a problem for me as I keep it face up or in my suit pocket most of the time.

Best bet for CenturyLink subscribers

Always buy your modem - it's higher up front cost, but payback is less than ten months. And if you have CenturyLink don't screw around - this is the one to get. Ridiculously easy setup. I was sceptical with no antennas, but the power and range is twice what our original Q1000 was. Router is on the second floor...no range extender needed for the basement any more.

I got the Shine for several reasons - waterproof (I never take it off to shower or swim), wanted to track daily activity outside of the gym, and really wanted something to try to keep me motivated. It succeeds for all three. The app works great, and allowed me to set my goal...I found my target after a couple days of experimenting. Gotta say I love seeing the "party lights" when I've hit my goal.
The only odd thing is that it will occasionally (though rarely) only show a single dot even though I know I've been way more active. However this is easily corrected with a quick sync with the app - in other words it is still working even though it doesn't appear to be.
Never had a problem with the unit popping out of the rubber wrist band and I'm pretty active...not sure what people who complain about that are doing.
Also, though it does have a time function, it's only accurate to the nearest 5 minutes rounding up or down - great for getting a general idea of the time, but certainly not intended to replace a wristwatch. But, not really an issue for me since I mostly use my phone to check the time anyway.
Apparently there are also several neat accessories for wearing them (necklace, steel mesh bands) that are available directly through Misfit. They look cool, but I haven't purchased any - I just haven't felt compelled to yet since the rubber bracelet is working fine for now.
Since I've only had it for about 6 weeks I can't say how long the battery lasts, though so far it's still going strong.
If you're looking for an activity tracker that's waterproof (great for swimmers) and looks better (IMHO), you'd be hard-pressed to find anything comparable that's a better value feature for feature.

is there a way to remove skin cells from ball contacts
Use a pen to pop the ball out of the socket from underneath the mouse then use a q-tip on the now exposed contacts. Should only take a few seconds. I do it about once a week myself.

One click of the wheel moves the matter about 10 lines. I am sure there most be a way to slow tis process down. How do I do it?
Are you using the Logitech mouse manager driver software? It has all kinds of customizations one of which is the number of lines to scroll.

Can I hook my iPod directly to the Soundbar system, or will it require hooking my iPod to a separate receiver or amplifier before the Soundbar to play my music?
The soundbar can be put into pairing mode and it will show up on any device as a bluetooth device. I have my iPhone connected to it and as long as it's connected, all I have to do is hit play. Magic!

Subwofer placement? Can the subwofer be placed below the TV on the floor facing forward? OR must it be further back alongside or behind the seating area facing the TV? Thank You in advance..!
Subs are omni-directional so they can be placed anywhere. I've found they're best either in the corner or next to the couch.

i have a vizio 55" e series hdtv. i am trying out an LG soundbar with wireless subwoofer. it's ok, but i get no visual feedback from the tv. the vizio soundbar, will i get visual feedback on the tv about the volume? or is there feedback on the remote?
There are little white LEDS on the left side of the soundbar that let you know how loud it is. I have a Vizio TV and it doesn't show on the TV itself (so no numerical indication) but the LEDs are very bright and easy to see. The remote only shows Vol +/-. But, I use my Apple TV and TV remote to control the sound 99% of the time. Hope that helps!

Does this soundbar connect directly to the tv? What I mean is, can it hang from the tv itself(any Vizio model[newer of course]) without any additional hardware, or do you have to set it on a table/stand?
I have a Vizio TV too. To get it to hang from the TV you need a soundbar mounting kit (I got the Rocktfiesh kit - $35 I think).

What powers the Subwoofer? Does it plug into the wall, or does it have to be charged?
Wall plug. It's bluetooth wireless, but not battery-powered.

It is NOT a 4K disc player. It only converts and upstreams to 4K.
