Light weight - in a good way

Weighing in under 3lbs this laptop is great for those folks that needs to lug their machine around wherever they go. The jury is still out on reliability, but so far no issues. One complaint folks have mentioned about this model is the fan noise, so far under normal use (web surfing and MS office), its been barely noticeable. .

I was lucky and got a WD Red in my unit. WD Red drives were designed to be more reliable if you run your drive 24/7. This is a ymmv, as some folks have reported WD Blue drives in their enclosure.. which is not a bad thing, as I find either WD drives more reliable than "Sxxgate" drives.

Good value / basic machine

Fit and finish is very good. I did run into an issue where the onboard wifi connection to the motherboard came loose when I added a video card. It didn't take much for it to get loose. As other have noted, I don't like where the front USB / Headphones are located on top of case - facing backwards. No multi-card reader, just a single SD(?) slot. The included Bluetooth keyboard and mouse is not the best. The keyboard is not a full-size board so its not ergonomic. On the plus side it takes up less desk space. The mouse felt really cheap - edges are noticeable when you move your thumb up/down.. The stock power supply is 300watt and was more than adequate to handle the add-on GTX950 (low power version) I added. I did a clean wipe of the OS and re-install of W10 (Home). The license key is bake onto the BIOS, so you will not need to re-enter it as long as you use the same OS sku (i.e. W10 Home). Noise wise, very quiet.

I've been using it more as a desktop replacement so I don't have much time using it in mobile mode (i.e. battery life). The flip tablet mode is a cool feature. I initially thought the physical volume control was not working, but it was - with enough pressure. I would swap out the harddrive with an SSD to better the boot time. I would have given it 5 stars if it was lighter (weight wise).

Very confusing on BestBuy part. I placed my order for a Bosch dishwasher and installation from BB. BB automatically added "2" different Dishwasher kits to my order. The only way to fix this is to call BB and have them remove one. The BB person I spoke with cancelled on of the kits and left sku 5146600 on my order. I questioned if that was the right kit in that the description stated it was for Frigidaire models, but I was assure it would work with Bosch. My installer used the kit and did not complain, so I assume it is the correct part.

Very narrorw cover and Poor job shipping

BB did a poor job shipping .. Item also looked to have been opened with hole in bottom of package.
The cover itself is very narrow. It just enough to cover the width of a Cat5 network cable. If not for the price and hassle to go to BB, I would have returned it.

Does this computer have to be set up wireless or can I use Ethernet cable?
It can use either, but if you are using wireless, you will need to configure (ie. password) to your wireless network.

Does this unit really only have a 10/100 Ethernet connection? Something this expensive and this powerful does not have a 1gb Ethernet connection? Are they indicating that the wireless connections are faster than a 1gb Ethernet connection?
Onboard NIC is a Realtek PCIe GBE and is capable of Gig speeds. The wireless adapter is a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, as for speed it would depend on the connection to your Wifi/Router.
