I read the reviews on this extender and decided to try it. I have a new house that is over 3700 sq ft not counting the finished basement. I decided to try Verizon Fios and unfortunately, it was so slow and un reliable unless I used my device in the same room as the router. I called Verizon back out and it was really nothing they could do because it was installed in the most beneficial location. He recommended that I try an extender as an economical option to my problem.
So, I read the reviews for an affordable extender and purchased this one. It works perfectly, easy to install and I can access the internet and watch videos from any location. As a note, the Verizon router is on the 1st floor and I have the extender plugged in the room directly above the room with Verizon router on the 2nd floor.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No, you need internet access.
