I have an Acer S271HL and when I try to upgrade to the new Windows 10 it tells me my display is not compatible with windows 10 and to contact the manufacturer. I have tried on the Acer website to get an answer and cannot get through. That's why I want to know for sure if this one will actually be compatible with Windows 10?
I am running Windows 10 with this monitor. You may have to adjust the resolution settings, but it should work.

Does this monitor have ports to hook up external speakers since there are no built-in speakers?
Yes. I was able to use my old Dell speakers with my HP tower and this Acer monitor.
