Good zoom with a solid aperture which won't break the bank. Originally had the 55-250 which didn't quite get the job done. This is a nice step in the right direction and with a high enough shutter speed you won't notice the IS is missing. Plus it's a far cheaper alternative to the 70-200 f2.8

Two lens for the cost of one basically, sign me up. At first I questioned whether or not I should get this or just the 50mm f/1.4 but was told 1.8 is enough unless shooting in low light and the 10-18 is an ideal vlogging lens (not my cup of tea as I prefer the 24mm f2.8) but the wide angle lens excels at landscape photographing. Living near the water I find myself taking more landscape photos now than I did before I picked this product up. Definitely worth it!

The photos came out less than the quality I have come to expect from Canon. Returned this lens and purchased the 70-200 f/4 instead. Yes the zoom range is smaller but love having a constant aperture of f4.
