I bought this power pack for my wife who uses an iPhone 6 Plus. It has been very useful as a reserve power source for both extended use and quick recharge. In products like these, the key is fulfilling expectations, and the myCharge delivers. It is large, provides lengthy extended use, and is a very quick DC to DC charging unit. I think the charging approach is my favorite. It is a very quick charge and fits my wife perfectly, as it can charge while in her purse. It does get a tad warm, but nothing out of the ordinary for those type of charging conditions. I also like the battery meter, making it easy to keep the brick charged and prevent unexpected depletion. The only thing keeping me from hitting the 5 star mark is the price. For only 6000 mAh, I thought the price could be a little better.

Better movie than the ratings indicate. Of course the Blu-ray gives quality picture and sound. Hoping there will be a continuation of this character reboot.

After extensive research in an attempt to replace speakers my wife wanted removed from my family room (she wanted no speakers out - anywhere), I turned my attention to in-wall speakers and began wondering what type of price I would have to pay, or better yet, what compromise would I have to make by making a concession on the price. I chose these speakers after listening to them in another store.
First, the installation was a breeze. Yamaha provides a template for sheetrock cutout - actually providing 2, one for each speaker. The speakers easily clamp to the sheetrock, giving a firm, tight feel. I recommend stuffing the hole with some fiberglass in order to ensure you don't lose much sound in the walls. I wanted my speakers the same color as the walls, so I had to paint them. If you want to paint these, don't forget to sand them. They stipulate the speakers are paintable, but they don't really paint well, even with decent buffing.
As for the sound, for the price, these are very good. They provide a midrange/bass crossover on each speaker. I have them mixed with a Yamaha center channel, and 2 different variations of Polk Audio in-wall speakers. The provide a very crisp sound, but not quite as detailed as the Polk Audio speakers. Some of this could be due to the need to further tweak things, but I believe this is just a slight difference in quality.

I was in the market for a new receiver due to my 7.2 surround Onkyo being a little dated and not having sufficient HDMI inputs for my devices. I looked at several brands and decided to settle on Denon - helping that decision was a sale price that couldn't be ignored.
The receiver was very easy to setup and configure due to an onscreen setup wizard. This wizard was very detailed and thorough, giving suggestions on speaker placement, as well as performing an Audyssey sound setup. One of the neat things about the sound setup is that Denon not only provided the Audyssey microphone, but also a sturdy, adjustable, cardboard mic stand for positioning purposes - great job.
Once configured, the sound is very detailed and crisp, but powerful. There are several listening modes, but not an overwhelming number. The presets sounds are better than decent, so the average user/listener would have no problem enjoying great sound without much tinkering. This receiver comes with 6 HDMI inputs, plenty to hook up all your devices, and it offers WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, basically allowing limitless connectivity capabilities. There is decent music service support built right into the box (Spotify, Pandora, XM, etc.), and you can even use DNLA to connect devices that support this technology. The setup options offer a vast amount of control over the configuration - volumes, crossovers, input configuration, TV sync, and much more. There is zone support for both wired and wireless speakers - yes you can add additional Bluetooth speakers throughout the house and control when sound is played through them - making this a possible whole home media control center.
This is a very good receiver with a ton of features, great build quality, and decent power.

I have purchased each iteration of the Jawbone Up band - all for my wife. She is really in love with the software experience - food, exercise, challenges, social, etc. Each band has been decent at tracking her movement, activity, and sleep - each release improving the experience.
Every iteration of the Up band seemed to have some sort of hardware deficiency. Whether it was the rubber deteriorating on the band, the battery losing it's ability to charge, or the charging port not working or becoming too recessed. The one thing I will say about this version is that it appears Jawbone has finally decided to go in another direction. It is a complete redesign, and I believe it was necessary.
New charging port. New material. New shape. New way to secure on wrist. Just an overall different approach, and it is welcome. The new charging port completely resolves one of the biggest issues of the former version: the recessed port. Because of the ability to adjust the fit, you can guarantee a more comfortable feel when wearing it. Welcome changes.
A couple of issues that need to be addressed (every iteration it seems - SMH). First, my wife's band has come off a couple of times in bed. This never happened on the previous version, which was claspless. Second, the device picked up clothing dye much easier than its predecessor. Not sure if that is something that we only experienced, but it was noticeable.
All in all I think this is a better, improved version.

When purchasing any external memory device, the biggest keys to having a successful experience are the device matching the purpose, and the device meeting the standards stated on package/marketing. I purchased this external drive for my Xbox One, which was in need of storage space due to the way it installs games.
The device has a very solid, premium feel to it. There is no cheap feel to the drive itself, nor the cables that accompany it. That's a little important to me because it is designed to be a mobile accessory. It has the look and feel of quality.
I haven't used the drive in any situation or environment other than Xbox One expansion. In that case, formatting was quick and seamless, and the read and write speeds are definitely USB 3 compliant. I have installed 3 games on the drive so far, and played them seamlessly in an online environment without any issue.
Very useful in both a mobile and stationary situation in my opinion.

I purchased the Ecobee 3 - absolutely the best. I was really taken with the additional remote sensor, which actually contains 3 sensors - temperature, humidity, and motion. It allows the thermostat to get a true picture of the climate in your home because, along with the base unit sensors, you have readings from multiple locations.
I have 2 units, and I have 2 Ecobee 3s. Upstairs, the temperature is very tricky to manage - or should I say was tricky to manage. I purchased this additional pack of sensors because the bedrooms and bonus rooms have inconsistent temps. Adding 2 additional sensors increases the scope of my averages for the climate, and allows the Ecobee to know when more of the upstairs is occupied or not when determining what the experienced climate is - if I'm in my room and the temp in there is 78, but 75 in the other rooms, the AC pops on to cool me off.
If you have a single unit in a larger home, or if you have an upstairs that has aim over the garage room or varying temps, these things will help your Ecobee be even more accurate and efficient in keeping an awesome climate in your home.

In all honesty, I went into Best Buy to purchase a Nest. I did a little researching and listened to a couple of guys that work with me, and made the determination that my dive into home automation would include a couple of Nest thermostats. Well, I ran across the Ecobee 3 just by browsing - glad I did. Not saying the Nest isn't good, but where Ecobee 3 excels is in the added sensor(s) for greater floor coverage. With it, you receive one remote sensor which you wirelessly connect to the thermostat and place in the location of your choice. That gives you the thermostat location and a remote location working together to gauge the climate.
The sensors actually contain 3 sensors - temperature, humidity, motion. These 3 are also present in the base unit. You can add additional sensors to include other locations or rooms in your climate calculation. I added 2 additional sensors for my upstairs unit because the climate is just tricky up there, while my downstairs is more open. Ecobee 3 takes an average of all the sensors to determine the true climate of the floor/house. It also has modes like follow me - the motion sensors are used to know which rooms are occupied, hence which to include in testing for climate. Awesome! This also is used when the unit is set to auto for mode selection. When the house is still, the mode will switch to sleep - lower/higher temps depending on the season. When there is activity detected, the mode switches to home.
Ecobee also has a great web interface allowing you to manage your home climate from the cloud. They have a very well documented API allowing integration with other home automation systems - Wink, Vera, Smart Things, etc.
Because of the sensor capability alone, this is well worth it. Also, makes me wonder why the Nest isn't cheaper.

I was looking for a at least a dual monitor set up to replace my former 17 inch laptop plus monitor combo - used when working in my office at home. I found out about the LG UltraWide a couple of years ago actually, but was a little concerned about the initial resolution. Well, the latest model has a much higher resolution with a display port. I switched from my MacBook Pro (17) to a Surface Pro 3, which has a mini display port.
This turned out to be an absolute dream setup. This monitor is crisp, accurate, and fast, and you can easily snap a couple of windows side-by-side on it - 3 if you'd like, but I'm a developer and like a little more screen width.
Now I have a 3 monitor setup - SP3 serving as the 3rd. All in the same space I had a laptop and a 21 inch monitor. I think this is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a replacement for a desktop monitor, or that docks their mobile PC. A can't miss product.
