This laptop has it all. It can play disks and back up your new smartphone with the 3.1 type C port without an adaptor. USBs are only 3.0 but that's ok. With the AMD A12 and graphics card it will handle any game you throw at it. I thought the price was a mistake. I'm buying another one tomorrow to give it as a gift. If your looking for a hearty laptop look no further.

This battery is just a 2 cell so does it really hold a charge for 5 hours? My current laptop was supposed to and from day 1 the 5200 mAh battery it came with only lasts 2.5 hours.

How does the AMD A processer compare to the Intel i5 or i7 ? in terms of speed ? Which is faster ? Compatible? efficient?
That is a very complicated question. Google the AMD processor model the put vs i5 or i7. Websites will show you all the data on how they compare. The A12 and the FX Amd processors are quad-core while and 7th gen i5 is a duo. Personally I think the 12 and FX are faster than the i5 by quite a bit. It also depends on how much ram the computer has and what task you are performing. A couple of Google searches will get you on the right track to figure out what's right for you. Amd processors are a great alternative to expensive gaming computers because of the graphics card they come with and their multitasking abilites.
