I was thrilled to be able to get this on CD. Benny Mardones has always been underated and that's a shame. This is good rock and roll for anyone who likes rock and roll.
This is a first time purchase from this artist for me. I like their sound. I would recomend it. Just be aware that it does carry a parental advisary with it.
I have always had a great deal of respect for Steely Dan. Their music can make you think. That's never a bad thing. I will miss Walter Becker's presence, but his musical legacy will live forever. This is just one example of the fine music he shared in making with Donald Fagen.
I had this on tape and wanted it on CD as well. I am a fan of this artist. The only complaint I have is two of the songs on tape are omitted on the disc. However, it is a good live performance by a very talented artist.
I was looking forward to the new Foo Fighters project and it did not fail to deliver. The added bonus of Taylor Hawkins on lead vocals on one number was also a pleasant surprise. The only complaint I have was there was no need for the obscenity uttered at the end of the last track. It served no real purpose. However, based on the whole project, I would recommend it to anyone to check out.
Disclaimer up front: I have always been a Doobie Brothers fan. These two projects just bear out the great musicianship that this group has. If you are a fan of good rock and roll, you'll like this music.
Triumph has always had a good sound. Some compare them to Rush. Maybe if Rush had continued to make music like their first three albums, I would agree. Regardless, Triumph's music stands alone on its own merits. Buy it and you won't be disappointed if you like good straight ahead power rock music.
I have always liked this band. It really didn't matter what configuration there was. They always had a good sound. I would definitely recommend this music if you like southern rock.
