My husband bought this for my iPhone 7 plus.. its not a very thick protective layer but I guess this will do for now. It was somewhat difficult to put on. I'd suggest have best buy put it on for you even though that's extra.

I love the look of this case and I tried it when I went to the river on the weekend and it is indeed waterproof. However something that is bothering me is the fact that people cannot hear me when I call. I've tried both through the iPhone and speaker option. I have to take out my phone from the case or connect my earphones in order for people to understand what I am saying. I like for outdoors when I don't need it for phone calls but not everyday use. Also the cover makes it hard to text or open up the menu bar from the bottom. I find myself taking my phone out way to often.
