Ready for home use or the loudest pro tournament, you can transform the A40 TR from an open-back to a closed-back noise-cancelling headset by swapping components like Speaker Tags, microphone, and ear cushions (sold separately) in ASTRO Mod Kits). The MixAmp M80 gives you the best on-controller audio experience available. Three preset EQ modes, active Mute, and Game:Voice Balance controls give you the control over Amplified Stereo audio. The intuitive design allows you to easily adjust your audio preferences without taking your eyes off the screen- so your killstreak goes uninterrupted. Seamless Xbox One integration and precision audio done the ASTRO way.

Great headset!

I have used Turtle Beach headsets for gaming for many years. I got tired of the earpiece breaking off the adjustment band to just have the whole piece hanging by the wires. Started to look into different headsets and was recommended Astro's by a friend online. Decided to buy one.
First impressions were good. The mixamp is a lot like the turtle beach controller adapter, except way better. It has a main volume knob on the bottom, and then a really nice mixer between game volume and chat volume on the front with an LED light that moves to show the amount applied to either side. Has a mute button on the bottom of the volume knob, which I love having the mute right there on the controller and not inline like a lot of other versions or having to flip up the mic to mute. There is also 3 EQ presets you can select from, and as with the game/chat mixer, the LED's signify which EQ setting you are on.
The headset seems to be really good quality construction, and has a flexible boom mic. What I really like about it is the adjustment brackets are made of metal instead of plastic, so I don't see them breaking like all of my Turtle Beaches have. I have a pretty large head, and the headset fits a little snug, but comfortably. The cups are large enough to completely cover most ears. I have longer ears so they don't cover completely but most of the way. The mic clarity seems to be really good. I have gotten a lot of comments on how good and clear my mic sounds online.
The sound quality is great. No, it doesn't give earth shattering bass like there is a subwoofer in your head, but It is very well blended and the directional sounds are on point. Very easy to hear where footsteps are coming from in the game, and I haven't had one disappointment in the sound quality yet in the month I have been using them.
After the month of use though, there are some things that stand out as an annoyance. The mixamp cord to the headset is too short. It is just long enough to set the controller down next to you and it's already stretched out so any head movements are hindered and easy to forget so the controller goes flying if you make any sudden head movements. There is no way to counter that because the cord is hard wired into the mixamp, and not changeable. Also the input jack on the headset is at a terrible angle and is pointed straight up and down so the plug will sometimes rub into your shoulder while gaming. It's a minor annoyance, but enough that it should be addressed.
Also included with the headset is a separate cable to use the headset with your phone or other devices with a headphone jack. Cable has an inline mute button.
Overall is a great headset and is well worth it. Only 4/5 stars though for the minor annoyances I listed above.

Good dash cam

I purchased this dash cam to start keeping video records of people's terrible driving around me and in case of accidents and have been using it for about 2 months now. First to start off, I immediately bought a 30gb mini SD card to use in the camera instead of the 8gb one that came with it. Around 40 minutes of recording is about 6gb of data. Comes with a USB transfer cable to easily hook the camera up to a computer and transfer the files. As stated in some reviews, sound will not play back when using windows media player. I downloaded Quicktime player and video and sound work just fine.
Installation of the window mount suction cup is quite simple and have mine mounted just to the right of the rear view mirror, which puts it out of the way and still easy access to the control buttons. Hooking up and unhooking the camera from the mount is not hard and secures very well when in place. Removing the camera is definitely a two handed operation but is not a burden. The mount is very flexible with locking collars so it is easy to adjust the position. Feels very sturdy when locked down and does not feel like it will break.
The power cord for the camera is very long, and I have several feet left over tied up that isn't being used. Plugs into cigarette lighter. Camera powers on and off automatically when car turns on and off when left plugged in. There are settings in the camera you can change to make it start recording automatically when powered on or just record when you push the button. The battery life of the camera is not bad, but not great either. I have been able to get roughly 35 minutes of recording on a full battery charge. Comparing to other camera batteries like GoPro, it's not terrible battery life, but I just leave mine plugged in most of the time anyways.
The camera body itself is small and very portable. It is smaller in diameter than a credit card, but thicker than a cell phone in a case and the main lens sticks out twice as much as the thickness of the camera body. I usually keep mine in the box that came in the packaging as it has a protective bubble wrap sleeve and a smaller box to carry it in to keep it protected when not in use.
The video quality is pretty good. Definitely not the best out there, but easy to make out everything around you, and is fairly clear in night time driving. It has no problem picking up area lights/signs, etc at night. Lighting quality will definitely depend on how bright your headlights are to begin with but surrounding objects it does well with. The quality of the video seems to distort a lot the dirtier your windshield is so it is important to keep it clean for a higher quality video. It comes advertised as 1080p at 30fps but you also have to option to change the quality to 720p at 60fps which is the setting I normally run as it captures smoother video using double the frames per second. It is not always able to capture license plates, depending on how fast the other car is moving and your lighting conditions.
Sound quality is pretty decent. I usually crank my music up while driving and only has a minor amount of distortion during playback. The mic has pretty good sensitivity so you can hear talking outside of the vehicle, but not sure how far the range is.
The camera also has a lane departure warning system built in that you can turn on and off, but I have not used that feature yet.
Overall this a really good dash cam to have, especially for the price to help keep you or your family protected from liability's while on the road, or just to make video's for Youtube.

Enjoy superior sound and voice quality with these Jabra Elite wireless headphones. Integrated controls let you answer calls, adjust the volume or pause music with the touch of a button, while the included carrying case doubles as a charging station. External ambient noise keeps you aware of your surroundings, while a background noise filter delivers crisp, clear voice calls. With Bluetooth connectivity, these Jabra Elite wireless headphones are easy to pair to a mobile device.

Does they play loud. Most earbuds doesent play very loud. l had Jaybird x3. Good sound bit not so loud

Seems to vary by song, or even device playing them. Some songs for me are soft, then flipping to another song it's so loud it hurts my ears and have to turn down. They can play loud though but varies with the source. It also has an equalizer in the companion app which helps.
