Just what every growing gamer needs

Just when you think Asus couldn't make a better monitor, they keep surprising!
Setup was pretty simple, except getting the monitor out of the packaging while in the protective styrofoam was not a simple task and the side of the box had to be torn off. That being said, it was very well packaged and protected. The stand "foot" comes detached in the box, but is very easy to assemble onto the monitor. There is a little screw on the foot and a flap comes up to grab in order to tighten it down.
The monitor also comes with an hdmi cable, and a displayPort cable. It has a power brick, but has a small power plug that goes to the monitor, and a larger cable that plugs into the wall socket, and is plenty long as well. The monitor has 3 video inputs (2 hdmi, and a displayport) and also has a headphone out port as well.

Some of the video features of this monitor include AMD freesync, but I would rather see Nvidia support instead. A 1ms response time puts you as fast as you need. The panel highlights a 165hz refresh rate, but was only able to change it to 144hz. 165hz may only be attainable on AMD systems, not Intel. You have to go into your display settings, and at first it will only give you options for 50 and 60 hz. You need to go into display adapter properties, then monitor tab, and change the screen refresh rate in the drop down tab. After setting at 144hz, then the refesh in the display settings will let you pick from 50 to 180 hz with multiple options in between. The monitor has options to display FPS, but seems broken or a mistaken Identity as it only displays what the refresh rate is set at.. so it just sits at 60, or 180 or whatever the refresh is.. i find using the NVidia FPS counter the way to go.
Continuing Performance wise, the monitor is super responsive and has really good brightness. It is a 1080p ips panel. Gameplay feels so smooth.

The menu has a slew of options, but I find trying to navigate it a bit of a pain in the behind. The top button is also like a d pad, and you can use it to go up or down, left or right, or also click it to select. The very bottom button is the power. There are 3 other buttons to use to make choices in the settings. You are able to change which game mode you are playing, like racing, or FPS, or RPG, etc. I have highlighted some of the settings items in my pictures.
Overall, it is a 27", 180hz gaming monitor with sound. It has plenty of customizing options in the settings but don't feel like most of it is beneficial. The colors are good and brightness is good. Has speakers but not great., but still nice to have them. The monitor does have a good viewing adjustment on the stand. It is fixed in height but can swivel up and down pretty well. Good enough that my monitor is on a riser and can swivel down enough to look normal. I would recommend this monitor, but just have to remember to adjust your display settings

I got this HP monitor for my office set up and performs really well as a standard monitor.
Out of the box, this monitor is super light and thin. The stand base and bracket connect easily and attaches to the back of the monitor very easily. The power cord has good length to it but does have a power "brick" in the middle. The only inputs are 1 hdmi and 1 standard monitor old style input so it works great for office pc's with out independant graphics cards as well. Overall installation and set up is 10/10.
The power buttons for the monitor are on the bottom of the panel and are easy to use when turning on or off or accessing the menu. The monitor has no bezel on the sides or top which adds a sleeker look and a better fit on the desk.
The monitor output is quite nice. It is a bright display and very clear and quality display. It is just a 1080p panel but does output so well and feels like a higher end display.
Overall it has been a great upgrade for my office computer and the 24" display is just big enough to enjoy with out being too big. Love it and recommend for the office enviroment

Small drone but loads of fun!

The Snaptain E10 drone is compact, easy to fly, and a great value! It is loads of fun and great as a beginner and even intermediate drone piloting!
Out of the box you would think, "How does a drone fit in this thing? It must be tiny!" The carry case is smaller than a camera bag and is very easy to transport around. Opening the case up, you will see a compact drone, a controller. 2 rechargeable drone batteries, some charging cables, an instruction booklet and 4 blade protectors.
The drone itself is easy to set up. The rotor blade arms unfold (after taking off the little paper sleeves) and the drone quite literally spreads its wings. The 4 blade protectors fit one way into the ends of each of the arms. It can be a bit tricky to get them to snap in and takes a bit of patience at first. After that the drone is essentially all set up. You will want to charge the 2 batteries that are included and it uses a usb-c type cable to charge. The green light will stay on when charging and no light when the battery is fully charged. Once the battery is charged, it simply slides into the back of the drone and snaps in place. There is a little protective film over the camera that needs to be removed as well. There is also a micro-sd memory card slot on the drone that you will need to buy in order to get clearer video and picture quality as well as actual storage to store the files. The camera is operated by your phone with the Snaptain app and you can actually pilot the drone completely from the app as well but range will probably be limited that way.
The controller is very compact as well and the antennas unfold and open up as well as the the controller grips. The center folds up and extends out to hold your phone. You do have to take your phone out of the case for it to fit though. There is a very handy overlay that goes on top of the controller that shows what all the buttons do so I found that very helpful. The controller will also need charged and comes with a rechargeable battery which uses a usb-c type charger as well.
The snaptain app is pretty basic and could use a better interface in my opinion. Once you power the drone on by holding the top power button, the app will be able to connect to it via wifi connection. You also have to hold the controller power as well to connect the controller to the drone. You can essentially fly the drone right from your phone when connected. You don't need the controller if using the phone. The video from the drone will come through automatically when using the app.
Flying the drone has been very fun and a bit of a learning curve as well. The controller is very responsive and the video quality is pretty good as well. It can do 3d flips which is fun to show off. Like any drone, the rotors are pretty loud and about the loudness of a grass cutter. The camera phone link does work well while within wifi range. Using the on board memory card will let you take pictures and video out of that range. It works pretty well using the buttons on the controller.
Overall, a very fun drone to use and super easy to pack up and take with on trips. Quite a bit of fly time on the batteries as well. Would definitely recommend for novice or intermediate fliers.

Great storage and speed!

The Crucial T500 PRO Internal SSD made by Micron, is a complete beast when it comes to gaming performance and load times. The same holds true with photo and video editing and other Content creation performance. It definitely proves itself and is a great bang for your buck to provide 2TB of storage at over 7GB/s read/write speeds. The PCIe 4.0 technology crushes the last gen PCIe 3.0 speeds and even works in multiple applications with out a hardware upgrade because the PCIe 4.0 is backwards compatible on PCIe 3.0 hardware.
Who would think that such storage performance would one day come from a device so small. It is truly remarkable. The build quality of the SSD is superb and although this model does not come with a built in heat sink, its performance in gaming load times is much faster. Between several games that have notoriously long load times like Forza Horizon 5, and even older games like GTA 5, I was able to load GTA5 ten seconds faster and Forza Horizon 5 six seconds faster.
This card is usable in multiple platforms and the heatsink version is even usable in upgrading your PS5 storage. This version is great in laptops, desktops, and workstations. I also find it re-assuring that Micron is even offering a 5 year warranty on this SSD to bolster its confidence in performance and longevity.
It is recommended by windows 11 to disable core isolation and virtual machine platform when running this hardware for improved gaming storage performance.
Overall I have been very impressed by the storage capacity and speed of this SSD. It is a great benefit to my gaming set up and is well worth the price point. I highly recommend.

Out with the old, in with the new

The Asus ExpertCenter D500 computer tower is a viable option for business owners looking to upgrade their hardware and be able to keep up with software compatability demands. Great for book keeping, some P.O.S. software, store proprietary software, or general browsing. With a media drive, sd reader, and several usb ports, it makes it easy to install your older non digital download software and keep your business flowing. It does have space in the case to add a cd optical drive of you wanted.
Out of the box, this is a very basic computer and is meant solely for business or commercial use. It has 8GB of DDR4 ram, but does run at 3200mhz. While it is not new DDR5 ram, it is at least running at older gamer spec rates, keeping cost down but providing enough to remain ahead of the curve in functionality.
It does only have an integrated graphics card as well. Since it is for commercial use, it does not need a graphics card and the processor graphics are just fine.
It uses integrated graphics powered by the Intel Core I5 13th generation processor. The I5 is actually a pretty decent spec'd chip, utilizing 10 cores, and boosting up to 4.7 ghz.

The rear IO also has 2 usb 3.2 ports and 2 more usb 2.0 ports. It has an hdmi out for display, and has the old keyboard and mouse circular p/s 2 ports.
The keyboard and mouse are also very basic and don't include a lot of features. The keys do press well and is comfortable to type with.
Every computer is built with a purpose, and if you know what this is built for, it is a pretty good little computer for handling business needs. I do recommend again for business looking to upgrade their old outdated hardware on a budget price.
I think adding a cd optical drive would have been a better choice though for a computer like this.

A second screen worth having

This Mobile Pixels Duex Max DS monitor attachment is an excellent addition to your laptop as a second screen for gaming, work, design and many other things. It is well built and sturdy and looks great!
Out of the box, which is nice and well designed, the monitor is easy to set up and add to your laptop. Having at least a 15" screen is what you will need for this setup. There is a template that is included that you lay on the lid of the screen with your laptop closed. And then using the double sided tape, attaching the magnets to the open holes in the template. The magnets do not effect the laptop screen. I was worried it would but its ok.
After attaching the magnets to the laptop screen lid, you just simply attach the monitor panel to the screen. The whole panel is meant to slide on its magnet rails to tuck behind the laptop screen, and slide out to the side when getting ready to use the monitor. Then you simply grab the edge of the monitor and pull it out from the sleeve.
It has a pretty good motion to it and is really secure. The monitor does not droop or sag when extended and can be angled in or out once fully extended. There are 2 cables included for a couple of options to hook up the display to your laptop. On mine I was able to use the thunderbolt usb port to get power and signal from the laptop. It turned on right away and automatically funtioned as an extended screen. You can go into the screen options on the laptop and change what the monitor does.
One downside is that with the extra monitor attached, The laptop becomes super heavy. If you are going to take it anywhere, you can just take the panel off and carry it separate or leave it attached and it is still slim enough to fit in most laptop sleeves, it is just heavy.
The monitor resolution is 1080p so the color and clarity is really clear and the motion rate is pretty decent. It really is a fantastic second screen.
Overall it is well built, sturdy, easy to install and use, and functions well. I highly recommend this panel setup.

A great office headset!

The Logitech zone 950 wireless headset has been a great addition to my office set up. It is easy to use, comfortable, and has great sound and microphone.
Out of the box, set up is as easy as plugging the usb dongle into the computer, and turning on the headset. It does come with a user guide for instruction. The headset does use a usb-c plug to charge and I did put in on the charger for about an hour before first using.
The headset it well built and feels solid. It has comfortable ear cushions and am able to wear it for several hours at a time. I like that it has a mute button on the side of the mic boom, and a voice will tell you when you mute or unmute the mic. It will also tell you when the headset is on or off.
I primarly use the headset during teams meetings and through the computers phone software. It is easy to pick up and end calls, and seems nobody has any trouble hearing or understanding me on call clarity.
The headset also has a feature for active noise canceling, so it is easier to concentrate if you are trying to listen and your co workers or family are being noisy. Unfortunately it does not filter the mic so if you are on a call, the other end can hear your background noise.
If you are wanting to travel with them, they do come with a nice carrying bag so you can put them in your work bag or briefcase and keep them somewhat protected.
Overall, this is a great headset to use for your office work. Stongly recommend!
I'm glad I made the switch to this headset. I have been able to walk around the office and also when I work from home with out issue.

Not your average coffee maker

The Bella Pro series coffee maker gets the job done quick and simple, to a point.
Out of the box the coffee maker is easy to set up, although there is an assortment of things to wash and clean before using, which include the glass caraffe, 2 brew baskets, a serving spoon, the large basket filter screen, the single serve filter screen, and the k cup top puncture spout.
After running a cleaning cycle of vinegar and several straight water brews, and washing the pile of parts, you can finally get to making some coffee or other k cup goods. The coffee maker is a very simple design. There is no clock or timer so if you are needing that, this is not the brewer for you. It is all instant brew and works well once you have figured out what pieces you need to put in it. For a standard caraffe, you need the caraffe large filter basket, and need to make sure the top single serve water dispenser is removed. It unscrews out of the top part. Remember to put it back in if you are doing single serve k kups or the small filter pod or you will have a mess.
The overall caraffe brewing takes about 5 minutes and you can select between different cup amounts to brew. Once the brew is done, the bottom base plate has a warmer in it that auto turns on and runs for 2 hours after the brew completes. If you are done before that, you can just press the brew button that is lit up solid and the light will turn off, indicating the warmer is turned off.
I am not a fan of coffee machine clutter in my cabinets or my counters, and this one does not make it easy to switch back and forth between caraffe and single serve. Mostly due to the fact that you have to screw or unscrew the top water dispensor for the single serve cups. You have to also change out the brew basket and overall, just leaves a lot of brewing parts not being used that has to go in a drawer or cabinet.
The single serve mode works well though too once your ready to brew, and has a flip down pedistal to put your small mug on.
Overall it is a quick and easy brewer, but with the lack of a brew timer, and what needs to be swapped out to change between brew type, I would only give 4 stars..

What an outstanding value!

The Anker Soundcore p25i earbuds are a value that is hard to beat for the price. A premium design, premium app and equalizer, and premium quality make you feel like you are carrying a high end set of ear buds.
It has a charging case with a solid feel, and even including a wrist lanyard. The ear buds snap into place very firmly and only go in one way, making sure you never second guess which bud goes in which ear.
There is also 3 choices for cushion size and the fit in the ear is also very firm and the earbuds stay in place well. Removing the right earbud only will only turn on the one earbud and allows for single ear listening. The second bud connects quickly when removed from the case and has a wide connection range away from the right earbud so you could share earbuds if you are watching a movie or listening to music on a flight. The earbuds stay connected to each other over 6ft apart which was only as far as I could hear each one play independently at the same time.
You will definitely need to download the soundcore app which will connect and pair your buds to your phone or device. You will be able to choose from 21 different preset equalizer options with the soundcore signature setting having a bass boost but unfortunately does not really boost the bass hardly at all. There was a firmware update available right away on my earbuds so make sure you check that you have the most recent software. There is a white noise mode claimed to be part of the choices but does not seems to exist in the app. There is a gaming mode which reduces latency and enhances footsteps in games but I have not had the ability to try that feature yet.
The touch contols on the earbuds are pretty cool. You can program each ear bud to respond how you want with one tap, two taps, or a hold and the action each one of those does. The tap on the earbud is very responsive and processes quickly.
Calling on the earbuds is very clear and crisp as well. Callers on the other end say they can hear me very clearly and doesn't sound like i'm in a tin can or far away or anything.
The battery longevity seems to be very long and very quick charging when back in the case. I have had no problems using these earbuds for several hours and they charge back quick in between. There is a battery monitor in the app so you are never left wondering how much charge you have. After about 3 hours of listening it shows I have about 80% battery left.
The sound overall is quite good and with the many equalizer options you have gives plently of adjustment, still a manual equalizer would be nice as well. The only thing I have to give a remark on would be the advertising of the bass levels and the 10mm drivers. They are mild at best and don't produce much sub bass. While there is good bass at the 60-80hz range, which is good for actual bass guitar listening, it just doesn't reach into the bass frequency needed to really enjoy certain types of music like edm, hip hop, dance, etc. It works well for the rock genres and such, really shining when producing mids and highs. The sound is comparable to several higher end ear buds I have which is amazing for the price point of these ear buds.
I was originally only going to give these earbuds 4 stars but the longer I have been listening with them, I feel they definitely deserve a 5 star rating for how well they sound, how well they stay in the ear, the craftsmanship and battery life, and the call and mic quality. Plus having a long range between buds is a plus. I am thoroughly impressed with for overall value for these earbuds and what you get with it. Would definitely make excellent gifts for the holidays.

A new monster printer for your office!

The Brother 3780 printer is a must have for any business. It is meant for small business', but is really versatile in any setting.
The printer comes well packed, and out of the box you can tell there is a great level of quality in the printer, as you would expect with Brother products all together. Set up is pretty easy, and you will need to download the Brother mobile connect app to utilize all of its features.
After setting up on your network and installing the print drivers on your devices, you can start printing, scanning, copying or faxing. All of that controllable by the 3.5" touchscreen, which is very acurate and responsive. The touchscreen menus are easy to navigate and manage printer tasks. You can also set up printing with Alexa, and use other services like Apple Air print as well.
The paper tray is easy to pull out and fill. It holds half a ream of paper which is enough to cover the whole day of printing for me which is nice. Printing itself is amazing. The laser quality printing and super speed mean my customers get to spend less time standing around waiting for invoices or receipts to print, and get clear, crisp printing every time. The double sided printing is awesome and is some of the quickest I have ever seen. This printer can handle up to 30 pages a minute.
The quick scan copying works flawlessly and can handle up to 50 pages at a time. The scan quality is really great considering how fast it scans the documents. It has worked really great any time I need to copy outside invoices into my pc or duplicate customer order sheets that need to be picked from multiple areas. It really cuts down on time over all.
One nice touch is the enhanced NFC security protocol to protect your wirless transmissions. Having that extra protection gives peace of mind from sensitive documents being intercepted by prying eyes.
I have really enjoyed using this printer and it has been a major upgrade for my business. One nice things is it comes with a 4 month refresh subscription trial which is a pretty cool service and saves you up to 50 percent on cartriges. .
Overall, this is an excellent printer and is well worth the investment for your small business. It does come with faxing features as well as scan and print from usb features as well that I have not yet needed to utilize.

I think it would. The air draws in from the back and blows out the sides. It has a large furnace type filter so should definitely help improve your air quality

On the k-cup side, can a travel mug fit in that space or just a regular coffee mug? Can you provide the clearance (in inches) please?
You are able to take the spill drain out to fit larger travel mugs. It can fit a mug right around 7 3/4" tall when taking out the drain.

No, the cameras are wired to the hard drive except for the tracking camera, but even that camera needs to be plugged in for power even though it is wifi. No batteries.

Is this S2319NX compatible for extended display use from a Dell Inspiron 3059 all in one computer? I have the HDMI hooked up to HDMI and it's not working..help plz
It displayed extended from my laptop just fine. You will probably have to adjust the settings in your graphics options on the computer itself for the second screen to work. The monitor just displays the image, it's the computer that will have to split it like you want.

Can the stand be removed?
Yes, it comes in the box with out the stand attached.

Does this monitor work like hdmi to hdmi for example could I connect my console to this monitor?
Yes, it includes around a 4ft HDMI cable so you can connect directly to the xbox and play. There is sound on this monitor though.

Do I need an adapter to connect the monitor with my xbox?
No, The monitor includes around a 4ft HDMI cable, so it can plug directly into the xbox and work fine, but there is no audio on the monitor.

Can u customize the resolution to play stretched and stuff
There is no adjustable resolution per say on the monitor. Most resolution adjustment is handled by the computer itself. The monitor has a max resolution of 1920x1080 though. It does have a factory aspect ratio of 16:9 Wide, and can adjust that to either 4:3 or 5:3 as well if needed.
